The Nebelwerfer. Such an iconic sound it makes. Not very accurate mind you, but the noise it makes is so loud that it scares anyone that it is aiming at.

If I remember correctly, the rockets were designed to make that sound on purpose, to demoralize and scare the enemy soldiers. Same with Stuka bombers. This probably compensated for the downside of inaccuracy.
