found this funny story in 2023🤣🤣 he's so cute and is a very collage final student like us🥹 "there’s this other story. that day, I went to get a haircut just like usual. while I was getting my hair cut, the barber start a conversation and said, 👤: have you been really busy lately, kiddo? it seems like you've been styling your hair a lot 🐰: ohh, yes, I have (been busy) then he told me that my scalp is really starting to need some serious care. so, I thought to myself, "wow, does my scalp really need urgent care like that?" a moment later, he said again, 👤: Namping, you should do a scalp detox with me right now so I agreed and went to get the detox. the detox he meant was washing my hair with a detoxifying shampoo, so I was like "okay, okay, let's do it!" while he was washing my hair, he asked what kind of shampoo do I normally use at home and I told him, "I use Argan oil shampoo", while my hair was being washed, I asked him, 🐰: sir, what kind of shampoo should I actually be using? 👤: this exact one I'm using on you right now as he washed it, it felt really cool and refreshing on my scalp. it felt so good. at that moment, I thought maybe I should start using this one at home. so I said "could you show it to me later? which one is it?" then, when it came time to blow-dry my hair after the haircut was finished, he brought over the shampoo and said, 👤: Namping, it's this one suddenly another stylist shouted from another haircutting station, 👤👤: hey, another artist from your agency (DMD) uses this same shampoo too. they buy it two bottles at a time hearing that, I thought, "if another artist from my company is using it, their hair must look amazing. I definitely have to buy it too" at that moment, I felt like I just had to get it. I didn’t even ask for the price because I figured.....it’s just shampoo, right? it couldn't possibly be more than 700 baht, right? it's just shampoo, how expensive could it be? everyone must be understand, right? so I said "sir, I'll take one bottle" I didn't ask the price because I was sure it wouldn't be that expensive. the moment when I come to pay, it popped into my head that maybe I should ask the price just to be polite. so I asked, 🐰: sir, how much is the shampoo? 👤: 1,200 (baht) at that moment, I just took a deep breath and went, "ooh....okay". the thing is, in my entire life, the most expensive shampoo I've ever used was no more than 200 baht. you know what I mean? so when I heard 1,200 in my head I was like, "so what now? am I going to have to go home and eat rice with salt for the rest of the month?" and that 1,200 baht didn't even include the price of the haircut yet! I wanted to scream out loud! *screaming* but in my heart, I told myself, "it's fine. think of it as an investment, Namping. it's an investment. we are investing in our hair. it's the most worthwhile investment" the end." HE'S SO CUTE HEELPPP😭😭 and in the end, I love how positive he is #nampingster

🦋 they said jeongwoo burst into tears the moment he got into the car 🦁 yeah. he was talking about the concert review with me, and then suddenly he started crying by himself. there weren't even any tissues 🐮 but i was sitting next to jeongwoo, and when jaehyuk hyung was crying, i was trying so hard not to cry too. i was holding it in so much that my head started to hurt. It felt like some weird muscle was being strained. i wanted to cry, but i also wanted to hold it back—so many emotions were mixed together 🐺 when jaehyuk hyung was giving his ment, seeing him get emotional made me tear up a little too, but i held it in. honestly, i really got emotional. i really did. i was holding it back and shaking my face a lot to keep myself from crying. then after everything ended and i got into the car, jaehyuk was talking, and while junghwan was giving his ment, i was watching his back. then suddenly it all hit me at once. i tried to stop myself there too, but it didn't work. because, honestly, we've been running for such a long time up until now. to be honest, it wasn't just us. the trainers and our entire trainer team staff members made this happen together. because it’s an award we all achieved together, it felt incredibly meaningful to me. i was actually thinking about that and tried to [say it/do it], but... yeah, i couldn't get it out #박정우 #하루토 #윤재혁 #소정환

Doug Leone, Chairman of Sequoia Capital, on why childhood pain is the most reliable predictor of relentless drive: Asked what makes the culture work, he doesn't begin with strategy, markets, or how they pick founders. He begins with a screening criterion most firms would never say out loud: "So, I think it starts with the people that we hire. We hired people that had a shock in their system when they were growing up." Then he names the shocks: "Maybe they were shunned. Maybe they were too smart for their own good. Maybe they were left by a parent. Maybe they were in a vicious competition with a twin brother. We have all those." doug leone puts himself in the sample: "In my case, I came from Europe. I got abused in high school. I was pissed off." His thesis is that the wound never closes, and that this is exactly what makes it useful: "So, we find these folks are a little edgy and for the rest of their lives they have something to prove in some ways not very different than founders." Credentials only tell you what someone has already done. The shock tells you what they're still trying to settle, and Leone is betting that it keeps producing long after the credentials stop. But he's equally clear that the trait arrives damaged. The same experience that manufactures the drive also isolates the person carrying it: "We put those people in an environment of trust. We teach them because those people and starting with myself, we were not pros at using the we pronoun." He's diagnosing his own hire, and himself: "Those people tend to be I people because they were set aside and we put them in a circle of trust and we teach them that we is better than I." The mechanism that makes the lesson hold is payroll: "We get compensation right. We don't have a situation that Johnny makes 10% more than Susie. It's pretty flat, which means we share things among us." You can't ask people who were set aside as children to trust each other while paying them on a scale that ranks them against each other. Flatten the pay and you delete the internal scoreboard, so the need to prove something has nowhere to point except outward. Which is where the drive finally goes: "And so we have this need, this incessant need to do something, to win that never goes away. And so when you say we work hard, it's all we've ever known."

BREAKING: Legendary cartoonist Scott Adams has passed away and his ex-wife reads his final message to followers telling them that he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. If Scott Adams had an impact on your life, this will be the most heartbreaking six and a half minutes you’ll listen to. Shelly Adams read Scott’s final words while holding back tears, live from the very place where he used to stream: “Unfortunately, this isn’t good news.” “Of course, he waited till just before the show started. But he’s not with us anymore. I’m going to try to get through this. He has a final message that he wanted to say. So I’m going to try to read it. Trying to be strong.” “If you are reading this, things did not go well for me. I have a few things to say before I go.” “My body failed before my brain. I am of sound mind as I write this, January 1st, 2026.” “Many of my Christian friends have asked me to find Jesus before I go. I’m not a believer, but I have to admit, the risk reward calculation for doing so looks so attractive to me.” “So here I go. I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and look forward to spending an eternity with him. The part about me not being a believer should be quite quickly resolved if I wake up in heaven.” “I won’t need any more convincing than that. I hope I’m still qualified for entry.” “With your permission, I’d like to explain my life.” “For the first part of my life, I was focused on making myself a worthy husband and parent, as a way of to find meaning. That worked. But marriages don’t always last forever, and mine eventually ended in a highly amicable way. I’m grateful for those years and for the people I came to call my family.” “Once the marriage unwound, I needed a new focus, a new meaning. And so I donated myself to the world. Literally speaking the words out loud in my otherwise, silent home.” “From that point on, I looked for ways I could add the most to people’s life one way or another. That marked the start of my evolution from Dilbert cartoonist to an author of what I hoped would be useful books.” “By then, I believe, I had enough life lessons that I could start passing them on. I continued making Dilbert comics, of course. As luck would have it, I’m a good writer.” “My book in the useful category was How to Fail at Almost Everything and Still Win Big. The book turned out to be a huge success, often imitated and influenced a wide variety of people.” “I still hear every day how much the book change lives. My plan to be useful was working.” “I followed up with my book Win Bigly. That trained an army of citizens how to be more persuasive. Which that correctly saw as a minor superpower. I know the book change lives because I hear it often.” “You probably never know the impact the book had on the world, but I know, and it pleases me while giving me a sense of meaning that is impossible to describe.” “My next book, Loser Think, tried to teach people how to think better, especially if they were to explain their thinking on social media. That one didn’t put much of a dent in the universe, but I tried.” “Finally, my book, Reframe Your Brain, taught readers how to program their own thoughts to make their personal and professional lives better. I was surprised and delighted at how much positive input impact the book is having.” “I also started podcasting a live show called Coffee With Scott Adams, dedicated to helping people think about the world and their lives in a more productive way. I didn’t plan it this way, but it ended up helping lots of lonely people find a community that made them less lonely.” “Again, that had great meaning to me.” “I had an amazing life.” “I gave it everything I had.” “If I got any benefits from my work, I’m asking that you pay it forward as best as you can.” “That’s the legacy I want. Be useful and please know I loved you all to the very end, Scott Adams.”

I think it’s time to talk about it 🙂‍↕️ I was delaying it because the scene messed me up in every possible way. From the moment he entered the room panting in anger, to the moment he subconsciously hid her behind his back to protect her when he heard the Kordağlıs were coming. When he entered the room like that (and he even knocked, but… since when does Serhat knock? 🌚), he scared her, because a part of her knew exactly how crazy this would make him. Because despite everything he did, despite the divorces and all the silence, she always knew he cared. And hell… he DID 😭 Serhat shouting “You can’t marry” in the same place where he once told her “It’s your life, I’m not responsible for it”??? C I N E M A! Yıldız gasping, crying, trying to catch her breath while arguing… #BiranDamlaYılmaz , you did NOT have to be this perfect 😭 When she said “Bir kere sen çıldır, yeter,” she was at her limit. There was that tiny second of silence while she was desperately gasping, and he just looked at her, helpless, not knowing how to save both of them from this mess. Y: You gave up on me. S: No, YOU gave up on me. With all disrespect… Sir??? I know he didn’t mean to hurt her, I know he was hurting too, but accusing HER of giving up, when from her POV he is the one who let go? She is the only one living in uncertainty from day one. He can’t expect her to read his mind. When she asked him to say he didn’t give up on her… imagine his position. Everything she said, he wanted to agree with. “I didn’t give up on you. I remember kissing you. I was about to divorce Melek and marry you.” He was swallowing everything, suffering in silence, because in his mind saying that would be selfish. He was still trying to avoid that red zone. NOW. THE MIRROR SCENE. First of all, why is no one talking about how he grabbed her with ONE HAND without even looking at her? He knew exactly where she was. Her surprised gasp?? His husky voice??? #ilhanşen canım abim, if you continue like this, Serhat will be the last character I watch from you because I will ascend to heaven. Have mercy on me big boy 🌚 Making them watch themselves in the mirror was WILD, Ercan hocam. If the scene was 100% intense, the mirror made it 10000%. His hand on her waist, her looking so tiny. His other hand slowly moving her hair. His face on her head next to her ear, sniffing her scent, looking… lustful, angry, desperate. The mix of desire and rage in his eyes??? EXCUSE ME??? He didn’t even touch the tattoo on her chest. He was locking her in place, making sure she couldn’t escape (as if she could). When he turned her around, he kept her trapped in his arms. He wasn’t testing her. He KNOWS she loves him. He was trying to speak without words. “This is what I feel. I messed up. But this is what I want.” But she needed words. She DESERVED words. He definitely was going for a kiss , and she pulled away. Because she is angry. Hurt. M convinced her she is a burden, and he never denied it with words. His silence confirmed everything in her mind. When he closed his eyes in that silence, realising that by trying to protect her with silence, he destroyed her AGAIN! Her cracked voice saying, “You still didn’t say you didn’t give up on me,” I wanted to hug her and cry until sunrise 😭 Then she put her strong mask back on, telling him not to enter her room like that, because she will soon be engaged💔 And btw, I’m 100% sure if it wasn’t for the Kordağlıs, he would NOT have left without kissing her. In my head, they kissed. There is no universe where Serhat left that room untouched after that tension. I tried my best to write with my sanity on! Just an advice 👀 try to catch ilhan’s panting in the beginning 🤤 they are delicious🫦 I know it turned out to be too long but the scene is quite long and full of details. I am sure I still can talking about it with another essay🤣 but I won’t don’t worry. #HalefKöklerinÇağrısı #Yılser

🚨 A MUST LISTEN for all amateur ballplayers wanting to play in college. Long but SO MUCH VALUE here! Alabama HC Rob Vaughn on college baseball recruiting and the type of player you truly want in your program, no matter the level. “Our job in college baseball, yes, it's to win games. Yes, it's to develop big leaguers, and yes, it's all the things that we all talk about in recruiting, but more than anything, it's to prepare these kids to be successful for whatever comes next. And man, as good as the talent is in this league, as good as the talent is on this team, not all of them are going to be career big leaguers, you know. And I think what makes Tyler Fay’s journey so awesome, is in a world that is inundated with particularly moms and dads that want your kid to cut and run when when they're not starting every day or they're not playing every day. You see at one end of the equation, you either get the parents are like, ‘Hey man, put your head down to work. We got to get better.’ And you get the parents that feed into the narrative, ‘man, they're not giving you a chance. You got to go. You got to leave.’ the thing about him that makes him so special is regardless of whether Tyler's a 20-year big league or not, that guy's going to be a smashing success in life because when things get hard, he doesn't cut and run. He's not sticking his hand out looking for the next easy way and who's going to pay me more. He’s the I'm going to put my head down. I'm going to work and I'm going to get better.” Guys like him are the exact reason you believe in what you recruit. You believe in makeup, you better hunt makeup because that guy has that in spades. And that's why he deserves every ounce of what he's getting right now.”

Richard Donner explains how he managed to include the Anti-Apartheid message in "Lethal Weapon 2" (1989) & why entertainment should always come first- even in message films: "Interviewer: From the process of a chase now to the ideological content, a lot of this movie that anti-apartheid message is loud and clear. What is your philosophy about a message in an entertainment film as opposed to a documentary? Donner: If you want to deliver a message and you're a total believer and you make a message film, you must realize [that] you have a very limited audience. And that's too bad because you have a message to get across. If you you're restricting your audience to that message film you are going to restrict your message you're not going to get it out there. There was a wonderful home made last year called 'A World Apart' (1988) starring Barbara Hershey. It was Chris Menges second film and I thought it was probably the most brilliant direction of the year. I thought [the little girl's] performance certainly deserved acknowledgement by the Academy. Menges's did; the picture did. Nobody saw it [the movie] nobody acknowledged it. It's a sick industry. So, I decided when we had lethal weapon and originally it was written that the heavies were Colombians. I was bored with it and I said, "Jeff let's get something else; let's come up with something a little original." So we [thought] who are the heavies out there? If this was 1942, it would be the Nazis. Where [are] the Nazis [now]. They're in South Africa running the government; so if they're in South Africa let's make them the heavies. On top of it, let's show diplomatic immunity so I can have a Mel Gibson carry an anti-apartheid sign. You can have a diplomatic immunity that's happening in the USA and all the nations that are signatories to it and then you see guys that have committed child m*lest@t!on [and with] diplomatic immunity and they get at home hand slapping sent out of the country. So, we got across a few messages under the guise of entertainment. We got to crush the fact that if you eat tuna, you're ki*ll*ng the dolphins and I get my little and makes me feel good but it's under the guise of entertainment. Interviewer: During all of this, have you defined what best can be done in a Hollywood picture? In other words by combining those priorities? Donner: Yeah, i think so. It makes the filmmaker a little happier for what he's done if he can do something a little more; than just to do an entertainment film with no message whatsoever. Our message in this film is primarily it's a good film; have some laughs, love Mel and Danny. It's good entertainment. You feel good at the end of it and you feel up. That's all I want to do. I'm an entertainer, but if in to within that moment of entertainment if I can sneak one little line in, one little thought, provoke one anxiety in somebody, I'm thrilled." (Richard Donner's interview with John C. Tibbetts, 1989)

yeyi getting back on your feet after losing everything is not a child's play,it took me 5 years of drought.lalela i would apply for jobs dololo a life coach i couldn't get paying clients. I remember giving free coaching sessions to men everyday for 3 years while having nothing to eat, after the sessions i would cry alone asking God ukuthi why me? Why am i doing the Lord's work but have nothing to show for it. I had to move to Alexandra in a one room, had to let my kids go as i had nothing to feed them.i was a laughing stock there, everytime i go out of my room my neighbors will gossip about me bathi bheka uwile, lol bathi from bugger to sphahlo.they'd say iphi i Audi, where's the nice life? Some would even ask me directly ka nako ego ereng depression mo ngwaneng. I lost so much weight as i wasn't eating well,a week will pass with me drinking Skhambelele/sugar water everyday just to stay alive, mangithi ngidlile it would be Noodles ze R5. My aunt who didn't stay far would sometimes ask me to come eat in the evening when she's back from work.ikile ampopula, may God bless her more.i then met a friend Bridgette Matjuda who was unemployed, but she would steal some groceries from her house without her husband's knowledge to bring to me so i can eat for few day.Oh bridget may everything you touch be blessed. One day after 5years of pain and suffering i decided to take back my power,i made a decision that enough is enough.i remember it was on the 2nd of june 2023 to be exact.i saw a lady selling Dubai perfumes on Twitter,i stole the pictures and started posting on the same app,wow the response i received was huge,i found a supplier and added my profit.gosh i started tasting money,a mere R1000 Excited me so much ,i pushed for more and started making 2k profit everyday.a good Samaritan took me by hand to show me where David Jones bags are sold,to the supplier bandla.bags that are sold at big retail stores for 4k i got them for R350, sold them for 1500.yeyi i made a killing, life became so much better,i would make 12k on a good day and 15k on a bad week.i started searching for other items to sell eg. I know many people have seen this video but I’d like to break it down a bit. I found this interesting for the timeline I’ve been putting together. Many of you have seen it. I’ll publish it again soon updated. Mark met Candace before she was anyone at TPUsa? Back in early 2017 at a TPUsa event? This is when she started doing her YouTube videos that took off. Was she stalking conservative events and high profile people to get into the circle? Did she stalk Charlie for months at events? Interesting. I remember her talking once about running around a TPUsa event handing out her cards to people so they’d know who she was. And then when Mark met her he offered to help her financially by giving her 1k a month for her bills. By just meeting her at an event? Because he was impressed with her. And thought she had potential. And she wasn’t a TpUSA employee? She’s good at manipulating for sure then. Then Charlie hires her at TPUsa in November about 6 months later then when Mark met her. That seems to be when she sent Mark the vile text saying she didn’t want to ever talk to him again with no explanation. I think it’s because she didn’t need him anymore. She succeeded in getting Charlie to hire her. It lines up. Then he says Charlie and him are hunting while the Kanye blowup is going on. So it’s really early in the Candace saga when Charlie says he needs to apologize for something. That people don’t change meaning Candace. That was Oct 2018. He says on that trip it was obvious Candace and Charlie had issues. Remember Candace was fired in May of 2019 from TPUsa. So Candace was being vicious from the beginning? I bet she was the one blowing up his phone in this clip. I wonder how long after Charlie hired Candace he regretted it. I bet immediately but he had her sign a contract the day he met her so he was locked in. My question is all this is was she stalking TPUsa events to get hired before Dave Rubin introduced Charle and Candace? Dave met her in early 2017 too. Mark says he tried to warn PragerU and DW about her. And that PragerU ended ugly. Why would these companies hire her after they saw what she had done at TPUsa. That will always confuse me. No matter how popular someone is if your friends are telling you she’s psychotic why would you invite that in? Just thinking out loud. So she’s made enemies with Dave, Mark, Dennis, Jeremy, Andrew, Blake, Mikey and everyone that she’s come into contact with. They all say she’s psycho. But she’s not the problem? Anyone see a pattern? Common denominator?

We are so quick to ask for prayer when we are poorly, but not as quick to thank him for the result. I wanna get better at because I'm still here, and that... is a miracle, thank you, Jesus 🙏 When someone asks for prayer, you know they are not ok, as it actually takes a lot of courage to ask for prayer and admit you aren't coping. But society doesn't teach us that. We all put on that brave face. How about you just be YOU, exactly how you come today, and then how you come tomorrow and so on. So many more people will be touched as they gravitate to the vulnerable sides we dont like people to see. No one can be strong all the time. But at the beginning of this now 6 month fight, I would try and be whom I thought people expected me to be, but there comes a time you can't pretend, and I am realising that is OK as well. When you have no choice but to just "be," that's when you find your true self. It doesn't mean that a loud, vibrant person isn't me either. It just means I'm stripped back atm and taking a step back to heal. One can only get back up so many times, before they fall and stay there for a while, and that's me now, and I have now learnt that it is also OK as well. During these times of absolute stripping back, I like to call it, you lose energy very quickly. So, during your "healing journey," many follow and offer help, support, and love, and as the journey goes on, it gets less than a few less again. Then you get to the point where people just don't know what to say. Because you know what? Either do I? I feel like if I explain every detail to someone of the last 5 years I've just met, they wouldn't even believe it could happen because I still struggle too. My best friend Nadine wrote this song for me, and I've used it to show you some really personal pictures of the last 6 months fighting golden staph and then sepsis. Keep in mind these are the good pictures, I tried to take the confronting ones out. This journey is still ongoing, and It's been in this time that EVERYTHING has started to crash around me, literally.... I was and still feel numb, I didn't want to talk, and some days I still don't want to. Don't take it as a sign against you. I need to learn how to take off everything that has crashed around me first. I'm still on the floor and I've realised that it's ok to stay there for a while as well. I nearly died twice in the last 6 months, and sometimes I ask why I didn't? Because after 20 years in pain, it's a long road with very few walking companions. I cry thinking about my beautiful son Colby, who has had to watch this journey nearly his whole life. I wish he didn't have to, but then part of that is what makes him, him as well. So there is ALWAYS a purpose, and there is ALWAYS a reason. Man, I am proud mumma of the man you have become❣️ So I hold on to that last string of hope I still have, well let's say a peice of cotton, in the hope that when my story is read it will help other people, and maybe change lives, because for awhile there I was actually brave enough to write it. I realise managing to sit in the sun for 30 mins in the morning is heaven. Sitting for meals and then back to bed is the reality, but I hang on to "I sat in the sun for 30 mins today." Then slowly but surely I will lift off the things that have fallen on top of me, one at a time, and start finding my way back. Because my small circle is unfailing, never changing, always loving, accepting of any way I come and always available. I am loved and so very blessed 🙏 I'm extremely grateful for all the messages, and if I haven't replied, you now know why, but I have read them ALL, and I thank you. They continue to encourage me. Thank you ALL so much, Much Love Always Emma xx ❣️

This is going to be a LONG post so please bare with me Today is my 20th birthday 🎉! I can’t Thank God enough for blessing me in the ways he has in the last six months. This is the first and probably not last birthday that I won’t really be celebrating. I am working today and have to meal prep. I went to the gym this morning which was some much needed therapy. So this will be my celebration. I am making this post celebrating all the important friends in my life who have changed it for the best. Mike I have known you for just over 2 years now and you have been around for some of my best moments and my worst moments. From helping me build out my first AR to watching you work your ASS off to build 2 amazing companies that won’t be going anywhere anytime soon with someone like you as a leader for them. Thank you for being there for me and encouraging me last year when I would send you dry fire videos. You don’t know it but I was going through one of the hardest seasons of my life and the encouragement you gave me ment the world and helped me. You were one of the first people to really motivate me to lose weight. Thank you brother Havoc 2-1 Thank you for all the encouragement and advice you have given me. When I posted that range video and you RT it commented and followed me I didn’t sleep AT ALL that night. It was the happiest I had been in a while to see someone who I looked up to recognize me and the stuff I was doing. And without you doing that I would never had found KingWash and gotten all the coaching he has given me. You motivate me and help keep me going. Thank you brother Wash Without you I would probably be heavier and weaker. And not a very good shooter compared to where I am at now. I truly mean it when I say you have changed my life in ways you don’t know and I can’t express online. Getting me in the gym and lifting. giving a kid with zero structure in his life, meaning and a structured path to follow and chase a dream is something only a few people in life are blessed with and I can’t thank you enough for everything you have done for me. Thank you brother Parker Geurin Thank you for being a role model to me. You are such an amazing father and family man and the positivity that you give is amazing man. Don’t ever stop being you and letting your light shine. And thank you for all the encouragement and kind words you have said to me, it truly means the world. Thank you Brother OG Pancake (Lead in The Wind) Thank you for being you. The laughs that I get from some of your posts and replies make my day. You are a genuine dude who has a lot to give and I thank you for encouraging me as you have. Thank you brother grumpycattac Thank you for the encouragement and wisdom you have given me. When I first started dry firing you were quick to listen and slow to judge. You helped and encouraged me and for that I thank you. Thank you brother Emily Fisher Thank you for for being an inspiration. You have inspired me to be consistent on days where I haven’t wanted to do anything. seeing you post a dry fire session one less number than the day before makes me want to get off my lazy ass and work. Thank you Greyson VonLanningham Hannah thank you for all the encouragement and uplifting you guys have blessed me with. I truly can’t tell you how much it means to me. Thank you both If I have missed someone I am sorry please forgive me as I have run out of space and am writing this at work. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next year of my life and what God has in store for me. Thank you all for being my friends. I can’t wait to meet all of you at one point or another and express my thanks in person.

Most of you guys don't know that I grew up as a Christian missionary kid, with both of my parents in full-time ministry. What this meant is that I grew up seeing my parents imperfectly strive to be the hands and feet of Jesus. There were times when a homeless lady slept on our couch downstairs and a homeless man in a tent in our backyard. Other times when our side street was full of tables and people from the neighborhood as we fed the hungry. Constantly because I was homeschooled, school would be interrupted to help someone move something or donate stuff to the ministry thrift store. As a kid I often thought about how much more my parents could do if they had more money. That's where my desire to learn how to make money started because I wanted to be able to help their ministry. Somewhere along this journey I started to lose the plot and started to care more about money than God, which is a horrible place to get to. This morning while I was praying and thanking God for afflicting me, because truly before I was afflicted I went astray but now I love His law. A song that I wrote, I believe when I was around nine or ten years old, came back to my mind and truly it blows me away that my nine-year-old self had more wisdom at times than my late twenties self and my thirty-one-year-old self. And the reason for that is simple. All wisdom comes from God and man's wisdom is nothing compared to his, which means that if God wants to give a nine-year-old some wisdom, it can be greater than that of a PhD professor whose wisdom comes only from man. This is the song I wrote as a little boy. Verse 1: How crazy are everyday worries! How crazy the things that we dread! Oh how pointless the things that we long for! Oh how pointless the lives that we live! Chorus: How crazy, how crazy How pointless, how pointless can we live? Verse 2: We know who we should long for. We know who we should praise. We know who we should obey. But it's easier said than done. I remember my parents telling me that it was pretty good but no one would want to sing it because the chorus was too depressing and people want to be uplifted. So from then on I would just sing it to myself because I didn't think it was depressing because it reminded me about what mattered. It reminded me that everything the world told me mattered didn't. Sometimes I would use the song to pray, too, before I went to bed or after I woke up. Jesus Christ is the one that we should long for. He's the one that we should praise, and he is the one that we must obey. For Jesus says, "If you love me you will do what I command." Maybe you're reading this, extremely skeptical of God or any religion. I just would ask you: what's going to be the end of everything you're pursuing now? Is your life not like a breath, here today and gone tomorrow? Is all of the money that you're gathering not simply going to be left to someone else for you're not going to be able to take any of it with you? Will not all of your memories that you cherish so dearly be lost with you when you die? Is not the fruit of all that you're pursuing meaningless if there is no God for the end of the universe is cold, dark, and lifeless and not even the generations between now and lifelessness will remember you? If there was no God there would be nothing. Just like if you live like there is no God, all of your pursuits will come to nothing. Yet "God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son so that whoever believes in him shall not perish but shall have everlasting life." You see we don't have a God of this universe who is impersonal who doesn't care for us. No he desires a relationship with us and the way that we know that is because he literally limited himself and came to earth as a man to show us the way to eternal life. He said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." When Jesus truly becomes the one you treasure above all else and when you look at Him, the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, He who dwells in unapproachable light, who no man has ever seen, and to whom belongs glory and eternal dominion. When you look at that and your heart becomes set upon nothing but His kingdom, He makes your path straight. He gives you work to do that will store up fruit in eternity that already today can earn you wages that will be everlasting. He will make our lives on this Earth not meaningless but full of far more meaning than we can even grasp, comprehend, or imagine. Lord, I just lift up every single reader of this post and ask that You would open their eyes, God, by the power of Your Spirit. That You would soften their hearts, Lord, and give them understanding by the fullness of Your power, Lord, because by human wisdom Your Kingdom cannot be grasped. So Lord, call them by Your Spirit that they may answer You, that they may repent and that they may live starting today for eternal life. Amen.

🚨 UK Police Harass a Man in the Street: “It’s Been Reported That You Keep Trying to Speak to People.” Two police officers approach a man on a public street and immediately begin questioning him. Officer: “It’s been reported that you keep trying to speak to people.” The man replies reasonably: “I did make a report myself that a couple of lads were acting dodgy around here.” Police: “We’re not here for that.” The officers then press him further: Officer: “You’ve been heard saying to some, ‘If you come here you should speak English.’” The man clarifies calmly: “I was trying to have a chat with someone and they said ‘no English,’ so I said maybe it’s a good idea before you come to England if you would learn English.” Officer’s response: “That could be taken as a racist comment.” This is a complete waste of police time. A man tries to engage in conversation, reports suspicious behaviour himself, and makes the entirely sensible observation that people moving to England might benefit from learning the language. For this, he is stopped, questioned, and implicitly threatened with accusations of racism. There is nothing racist about expecting people who choose to live in Britain to make a basic effort to speak English. It’s common sense. It’s basic integration. Yet in modern Britain, stating this obvious truth out loud can now get you hassled by the police. Meanwhile, genuine issues, antisocial behaviour, grooming gangs, knife crime, and actual public disorder continue to plague communities while officers waste time on this. This is not policing. This is harassment. British people are increasingly fed up with a two-tier system that polices speech while failing to protect the public.

Caller: “I'm 26 and a nurse. I've been with my boyfriend for 6 years. I graduated from school in 2023 with $167,000 in student loans. I've paid off a lot and have about $90,000 left. My boyfriend makes $250,000 a year, but he doesn’t want to propose until I’m completely debt-free.” Dave Ramsey: “Interesting. You’re not going to like me if you were my daughter.” Caller: “Why?” Dave Ramsey: “You want to know what I would tell you?” Caller: “What?” Dave Ramsey: “Dump him.” Caller: “Yeah? I mean, he’s a great guy.” Dave Ramsey: “No, he’s not. No, he’s not. No, he’s not. He’s making you prove your worth based on money. To him, you’re having to buy your way into this relationship. Nope. You’re a princess, and you deserve more than this.” Caller: “The reason I’ve been able to put the majority of my paycheck toward my loans is because he pays all of our rent.” Dave Ramsey: “Oh, so you live together?” Caller: “Yeah, we live together.” Dave Ramsey: “Oh, so you’re already married you just didn’t admit it.” Caller: “Yeah, it doesn’t seem like we’re married.” Dave Ramsey: “Well… yeah. Gosh. So what’s his incentive to get married? None. Jade Warshaw: “Living together before marriage is a bum idea. It’s not a good idea because what happens is you start making bad relationship decisions based on financial gain and the pressure you’ve already put on yourselves.” “It’s a lot easier to walk away from a messed-up relationship when he lives over there and she lives over here, and you just get together when it’s time to go on dates. It’s a lot easier to say, ‘You know what? This guy’s a bum. I’m going to walk away.’” “It becomes much more difficult when you’re living in the same house, splitting responsibilities, and he’s paying the rent. That makes it very hard to make the natural transitions you would have made if you hadn’t put that kind of pressure on the relationship.” Dave Ramsey: “You have a fabulous career as a nurse. You’ll always be employed, and you can work as much or as little as you want. You can work 80 hours a week or 20 hours a week. You’ll be able to do that for the rest of your life, and you can make a pile of money.” “All we tell couples to do is be aligned. Be in agreement about how money is going to be handled.” “Now, he’s in agreement that he hates debt. You’re in agreement that you hate debt, and you’ve been working hard to pay it down. But then he put up a false barrier here.I’m just telling you I love you, and if you were my daughter, I’d tell you not to marry this guy because I think this is a false premise.” “You’re aligned on what’s important. You’re aligned on saying, ‘We don’t like debt. We’re going to avoid debt, and we’re going to get out of debt.’” “If one of you has zero debt, but one person loves debt and hates saving while the other loves saving and hates debt, you’re going to get divorced later.” “The number one cause of divorce in North America today is money fights and money problems, This is a money fight, you’re just not having it out loud. You’re having it in your head.” Jade Warshaw: “It seemed like he was willing to help with the debt. We aren’t married yet, but it felt like he was trying to help, He was helping in the wrong way. That’s the only thing that makes me think he might simply be misguided. He said, ‘I’ll pay the rent.’” Dave Ramsey: “you can go to a marriage counselor and say Let’s get aligned on this, or we’re going to end this, But if at the end of the day, the answer is, ‘I won’t marry you until you pay off your debt Well, then the question has been answered. “You value that more than you value me, See you later, alligator.”

The wrath of God was poured out on Jesus. It was a free gift in the sense that we did nothing to deserve it, "yet while we were still sinners Christ died for us." But it was not free in that it came at great cost to Jesus, for He suffered and gave up His life to fulfill God's righteousness and wrath, so God would be just in having mercy on us. And following Christ it NOT free for us afterwards either, and this is another area I feel like the Western church never disciples people in: what it means to be a genuine Christian after converting. Paul says that "if Christ has not risen from the dead, we are of all people most to be pitied." There is great cost in this life to following Christ when Christianity isn't fake and used as a means to better pursue the idols of the American dream. “If anyone comes to me and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be my disciple. Whoever does not bear his own cross and come after me cannot be my disciple. For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it? Otherwise, when he has laid a foundation and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, saying, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish.’ So therefore, any one of you who does not renounce all that he has cannot be my disciple." Luke 14:26-30, 33 Jesus says a very similar thing in John, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. Whoever loves his life loses it, and whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. If anyone serves me, he must follow me; and where I am, there will my servant be also. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him." John 12:23-26 Jesus literally says, "I'm going to go die. Now come follow me!" I genuinely do want to die as a martyr instead of growing old. Growing old, being in my sinful body decades longer and dying in a diaper sounds far worse than dying for the name of my Lord and Savior on the battlefield, which surely would please my King and store up much fruit for my eternity with Jesus. Genuine Christianity has no idols. It counts everything else as worthless compared to the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus our Lord. And genuine Christians abhor sin. Having to walk in this world with our sinful body attached to us, like a putrid corpse of a rotting dead man tied to our backs, makes the life of the Christian a violent war zone within. Fighting my flesh brings me to tears almost daily before my Lord and I cry, "Oh wretched man that I am, who will save me from this body of death?" Not to mention fighting the powers and principalities that rule this present darkness. Surely Satan torments Christians and not objects of wrath because Satan is afraid that he only has this life to torment Christians, whereas he has eternity to torment the rest. The only hope we have is the Holy Spirit and the fact that we have living within us "all the fullness of Christ" and "The same power that raised Christ from the dead" A real fear of the Lord must be an ingredient to obedience and part of the power to overcome sin. Proverbs 14:27 The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, that one may turn away from the snares of death. Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight. Psalm 25:12-14 Who is the man who fears the Lord? Him will he instruct in the way that he should choose. His soul shall abide in well-being, and his offspring shall inherit the land. The friendship of the Lord is for those who fear him, and he makes known to them his covenant. Psalm 103:11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him; Fear of the Lord is taught in the New Testament as well, but not much in the modern Church to our own peril. "So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied." Acts 9:31 "So Peter opened his mouth and said: “Truly I understand that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him." Acts 10:34-35 There will be no revival in the church until we start preaching the full character of God and the fear of the Lord returns. Yes God is good. Yes God is merciful. Yes God is slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, but to teach that that is all that God is, is to lie about Him. For He is also righteous, just, holy, fearful, and full of wrath towards all who walk in sin. And there is no doubt in my mind teaching only the attributes of God that we think our congregations will like encourages Christians to walk in sin. The balance must return.

There is a very brief moment in The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring that, the more I think about it, the more significant it becomes: Frodo offers the Ring to Gandalf and asks him to keep it. It seems like a perfectly reasonable suggestion. If the Ring is really that dangerous, shouldn’t it be entrusted to someone powerful, wise, and more knowledgeable about the enemy than anyone else? But Gandalf immediately steps back and pushes Frodo’s hand away. “Do not tempt me, Frodo.” I think it is precisely that reaction that deserves our attention. Gandalf is not afraid of the Ring simply because it is an evil object. What catches my attention is what he says next: he admits that if he took it, he might come to desire to use it out of a “desire to do good.” And that is where I began to see the Ring’s temptation differently. It does not necessarily begin with the thought: “I want to do evil.” It can begin with a much more acceptable thought: “I could use this power to fix everything.” That is the truly frightening part. Gandalf is a character of immense power, but what stands out in this scene is not his power. It is his ability to recognize the limits of his own. He could easily convince himself that he would use the Ring to fight Sauron, protect the weak, and bring about a better order. On the surface, all of those purposes seem perfectly justified. But Gandalf seems to understand that the problem is not simply what intention you begin with. When someone has enough power to carry out what they believe is right, the boundary between “protecting others” and “deciding for others” can become dangerously thin. From that perspective, I no longer see “Do not tempt me” as an ordinary expression of humility. It sounds more like a confession. Gandalf does not say: “I am strong enough to resist the Ring.” He is almost saying: “I know that I am powerful enough to be changed by it.” That is what makes his refusal so admirable. He does not prove that he is immune to power. He admits that he could be tempted by it. And when I look at the other characters, I feel this even more clearly. Galadriel offers a beautiful contrast. When faced with the possibility of taking the Ring, she does not simply imagine herself becoming evil. What appears before her is a more powerful version of herself. A Galadriel who could reshape the world according to her own will. That is precisely what makes Galadriel’s scene so frightening. Because the temptation does not tell her: “Become evil.” It shows her: “You could become powerful enough that you would never again have to be helpless in the face of evil.” Gandalf and Galadriel therefore made me realize something: sometimes the most dangerous thing about power is not that it makes someone want to do evil, but that it makes a good person believe they have enough reason to use it. Boromir shows me another path. Boromir is not an evil man. He sees Gondor facing the threat of destruction and believes that the power of the Ring could be used against Sauron. What makes Boromir’s story so painful is that this idea is not entirely irrational. If the enemy possesses such a powerful weapon, why shouldn’t we use that very power to save the people we love? But that is where I see the difference between Boromir and Gandalf. Gandalf sees the trap while it is still disguised as a beautiful idea. Boromir, on the other hand, is pushed by circumstances until that idea becomes increasingly reasonable. And so Gandalf is not simply stronger than Boromir in terms of willpower. He recognizes earlier that there are forms of power that should not be justified solely by the purpose one hopes to achieve with them. This also explains why Frodo’s reaction to Gandalf’s refusal matters. Frodo naturally thinks: If Gandalf is stronger and wiser than I am, then perhaps he should be the one to keep the Ring. But Gandalf gives Frodo the exact opposite answer. The more powerful person is precisely the one who refuses to take it. And from there, the story presents a paradox that I find deeply beautiful: Is the strongest person always the person best suited to hold the greatest power? In the case of the Ring, the answer seems to be no. Frodo is not immune to the Ring. His journey proves the opposite. He too must endure its weight and eventually reaches the limits of his own strength. But Frodo does not begin the story with the ambition to use the Ring to rule or reshape the world. And perhaps that difference is what allows a small Hobbit to become the bearer of a burden that more powerful characters would not dare to accept. What impresses me most about Gandalf, then, is not how powerful he is. It is that he knows when his own power could become a danger. He does not try to prove: “I can control it.” He chooses instead to say: “I dare not take it.” It is only a small shift in perspective, but the meaning is completely different. Because power always tempts people to believe that they can control it, especially when they believe they are using it for a good purpose. Gandalf does the opposite. He refuses even the opportunity to become powerful enough to “fix” the world according to his own will. And the more I think about this scene, the more I feel that “Do not tempt me” is not only about the Ring. It speaks to a kind of temptation that is deeply human: when we believe we know what is best for others, it becomes very easy to start believing that we have the power to make that decision for them. Perhaps that is why Gandalf’s refusal does not feel to me like the moment when a powerful man steps back. It is the moment when a powerful man recognizes his own limits. And sometimes, the most valuable kind of strength is not the ability to wield great power. It is the ability to look at that power, know that you could use it, and still have enough clarity to say: No.
