It would be great if when he bends down he looks like crushed paper, or like a paper fan.

He does that actually. Unfortunately Ult’s shadow system sucks, so it’s hard to see the folds.

suggestion: if you can do it it'd be sick if this thingy appeared above Mario when he does forward smash and maybe make it tick down to when you're forced to let go of the smash attack

His downsmash(?) animation could maybe use a little retiming to feel more impactful, but this is looking incredible either way. I love that you actually got him to twist and spin for the fsmash, that looks great

I’ll try to speed up that F-Smash swing a little. Once we get sounds and GFX done, it’ll feel more impactful!

Are there gonna be Thousand Year Door characters?

i think Watt and Goombario are too small tbh. ik it’s most likely for the sake of balance but i think they’d work better if they were around the size of slightly more than half of mario
