Thinking about a career in cybersecurity but worried about your technical background? Don't be! 💡 Many roles value your problem-solving, analytical, & communication skills. 🕵️♀️ "Cybersecurity Dictionary for Everyone" is a good start, available on Amazon:

When is this coming in Entra

I have to say I'm disappointed they can't select a POS menu item that will print the code out JIT on receipt paper.

Awesome

this is a great example of meeting your users where they are, respecting their choices, and still improving security 🥂

Why not just lock it down to device and IP location? Or a hardware based device like an RSA token or Yubikey? Sounds like this dude lost a battle over funding for cybersecurity internally and is spinning it. Which if that’s the case I feel for him.

I'd recommend watching the full episode. They have 2.2 million users spread across 40,000 locations and a lot of churn. The logistics for these devices make it a non-starter.

Okta new feature coming soon- it’ll print out 1000 pages for you of all possible codes

So... if someone wants in, they can just use your codes - "use #70 on your list" - they can find that as easily as you can. This is also easier to "pass to others" to clock in for you, etc. than your phone would be. Seems less secure than those others. Creative though!

Is that any different from someone looking at the code on your RSA token?
