'Paperless Boarding' it's official... 👀👇

Paperless boarding is nonsense. Paper boarding passes don't cost Ryanair a penny, but smartphone only tickets disallow having a backup in case the smartphone fails. Not to mention that the elderly who don't use smartphones are excluded.

In what way is this an advantage? I'm a frequent Ryanair traveller, and both traversing the security gate and boarding always happens much faster and more reliable for those with a boarding card printed on paper. The only reason I can see is forcing the passengers to have a mobile phone and the app installed. Is this a requirement for relocating seating until the very last second before boarding for those without a seat reservation?

I was denied boarding 90 days ago because of your PAPERLESS boarding practices. Added the boarding pass to my Wallet and it proceeded to disappear from my phone. I missed my connecting flight because of that, and I got no refund from Ryanair. You cost me 2 plane tickets.

Shocking, discrimination against old people and millions who don't have smart phones, technology fails in multiple ways of happening paper ones never fail. I've had 4 5 times don't scan on phone causing ques. Why not keep both as back up would make sense and fair to everyone

I’ll be deleting the app and no longer flying with you. Even though I use the digital boarding pass, the fact that you are enforcing it infuriates me. We can see the digital CBDC future and we don’t like it. I hope others will follow suit!

Ryanair, hi, my mum has tried to get a refund off a hotel she had to pay for because of a cancelled flight back in july. She has tried everything, emailing you, even I've been trying to email but ye cant a refund.

I fail to see how it saves money. Ultimately, you're still scanning a barcode at the gate. The differences are: - You don't have to produce a PDF. Doesn't really save money? - The queue will move slower as they try to scan their dimly lit phone screen for the 5th time.

I have tried forwarding boarding tickets to my friends, but it won't allow it. Your staff on live chat were no use, and kept trying to end the chat. In the end, they ended without my consent. Your website needs addressing

Another reason 2 avoid Ryanair.If I want 2 print a boarding pass+don't want 2 live my life thru the medium of a smart phone then it's up 2 me.This is ntg to do with greenery/environmentalism - the mobile ph industry practises built-in obsolescence+are dirty to produce/dispose of.

Charged me twice for my baggage and no receipt received yet for the paid amount while boarding, it's been 3 days and no update yet. Could you please provide me the full refund amount.

My daughter was bullied and humiliated by your staff at Stansted Gate 48. 29/10/25. Flight FR31. She has a chronic health condition and has her medical bag with her which she has flown with numerous times. It is under 5kg. She was made to pay £60 . Discrimination
