@MrMatthewTodd Cyprus has storm drains that cope well with the heavy downpours they have at the end of the summer every year as most of the coast is at the foot of the Troodhos mountains. This goes beyond anything I ever saw when I lived in Larnaca.

Ok. What did they do? Spain refused a weapons deal or something. What did Cyprus say no to?

You're going to have to change your name from Volcaholic to Floodaholic! Or Disasterholic.

Fuckinell it’s everywhere

Good grief!! When I lived in Cyprus as a child in the 1950s, if it rained, (nothing like that), my father would rush outside with his cine camera to film it.

@rospay15 I lived in Paphos for 11 years to 2014 and this happened 2/3 times, normally the heavy rains like this happen in February.

@MrMatthewTodd It’s starting to feel symbolic now

This is crazy. Europe is in a state of permanent crisis

Breaks my heart.

what the hell is going on over across the pond these days!!!!
