@bkag1983 … why you think there are restrictions in many areas when it comes to collecting rain water???

Is that a TDS meter that measures the electrical conductivity of water to estimate the concentration of dissolved solid? FYI: TDS meters do not identify specific contaminants or determine if water is safe to drink; they only provide an aggregate measure of dissolved ions.

That Meter has nothing to do with Parasites, take it back to your Grow Tent where it belongs LOL

EXCEPT that device measures dissolved solids, INCLUDING HARMLESS SALTS, which of course would be lower in rainwater, while it does NOT measure microbial life, which rainwater is FULL of and WILL get you sick.

You’re fucking brain dead if u think that thing is testing chemicals. Why are generations getting dumber as time goes on? U have access to all the info known to man yet u choose ignorance

The idea that we do not have a parasite protocol for humans from the CDC is crazy to me.

Rainwater is not the same as groundwater. Rainwater is essentially pure H₂O. It is distilled by nature through evaporation and condensation, with virtually zero mineral content. Groundwater, on the other hand, filters through layers of soil, rocks, and sediment, picking up dissolved minerals, salts, and other trace elements along the way. That’s why it usually has a much higher mineral profile. A TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) meter measures the concentration of inorganic minerals and salts in water, it has NOTHING to do with detecting parasites, bacteria, or living organisms. Don’t let anyone mislead you on this.

LOL that meter is testing all organic and inorganic material in the water. that reading of 319 means, accdoring to the instructions, that scale can form its not testing for chemicals LOL

That meter does not test for paraites lol, it tests for PPM "parts per million," which is used to express the concentration of a substance in a solution, like minerals, salts, metals, or contaminants. Common tests include (TDS), chlorine, nitrates, and heavy metals, not parasites

For those morons who thing TDS measure water qulity. Rain water is soft but does not have any minerals that human body need! Its same as you drink destiled water. If you think that is good why you dont drink destiled water then!!

A TDS is NOT a way to measure the safety of water. A TDS will read high just from calcium, potassium, or other electrolytes in the water. STOP showing a TDS measurement as proof of bad water. That ain't what it measures.

I did this experiment, and it’s accurate, but having worked construction when I was younger I knew to never drink tap water in any city.
