"This incident understandably caused fear and confusion among the many students and families who witnessed this terrifying event." This statement was sent to parents by the Garden Grove School District in California. #DemsUnited

ICE detain yet another father during elementary school drop off hours—while his child begs to at least say goodbye. Arrest was so intrusive into students routine—crossing guards had to "divert children around this melee." This is 3rd arrest of a parent outside elementary school in San Diego area the past 2 weeks. One volunteer said that he walked several 7 and 8 year old children away from the incident—forced to answer questions like why "armed masked men" were taking someone’s dad away. Park Dale Lane Elementary School is located in Encinitas, California. #DemsUnited

After unidentified ICE agents attempted an unmarked traffic stop on Adriana Gavilan Sanchez and Jesus Acevedo Sanchez in Baltimore, the couple believed they were being carjacked and drove to Commodore John Rodgers Elementary/Middle School to reach safety where law enforcement was present. ICE agents arrested the couple on school grounds, prompting alarmed staff to call the Baltimore Police Department; newly released body camera footage shows responding local officers explaining that they could not intervene in a federal operation. A federal judge later ordered the parents' release, reprimanding ICE for violating due process and executing an unauthorized "fishing expedition" stop.

🚨Is the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors about to DEFUND school resource officers to fund more DEI? At a March 2nd meeting, Supervisor Juli Briskman told the county’s DEI department that she hopes the board will not fund a large resource request (elementary SROs), and if that happens, other budget requests like more DEI positions could be funded. The County Administrator already included funding in the proposed budget to fund school resource officers in elementary schools, something Briskman opposes as do most Democrats on the school board like April Chandler and Anne Donohue. On Thursday at 5:15 pm, the Loudoun County School Board is holding a special meeting and is expected to vote on the Sheriff’s proposal to add school resource officers in all elementary schools. Right now, the Democrat majority on the school board is expected to formally oppose the SRO proposal. We’ll keep you updated. Some believe this is being done now so Democrats on the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors, like Briskman, can make the argument to take the SRO funding out of the county’s proposed budget. “Why fund elementary school SROs if the school board doesn’t want them?” Right now, there are school resource officers in all middle and high schools in Loudoun County. The Sheriff says the county needs school resource officers in elementary schools because of how many calls of service there are at elementary schools and he says SRO’s can protect the most vulnerable kids in the county when seconds count. Elementary school shootings have been on the rise over the past ten years. The sheriff’s office also tells me there are hundreds of instances where SROs have had to leave middle schools to respond to threats at elementary schools each year. The sheriff’s office was told by the school admin last year that if they want school resource officers in elementary schools, they should get the funding first, and then LCPS will talk. But now it appears the school board is moving the goal posts. The sheriff’s office was able to get the funding, but now there’s an effort underway by Briskman and some school board members to pull the funding and prevent school resource officers in elementary schools.

ICE smash car window & drag 2 sisters out—in front of elementary school at pick up time. 13 masked agents surround car—while children yelled "It's ICE!" running away in fear. "My name is Jocelyn, I'm from Cicero," she cries. "They forced us out of the car, they followed us... they don't have a warrant." Both Jocelyn and her sister, who was driving the car, are DACA recipients—and were eventually released after they were finally allowed to prove their legal status. A teacher exiting an Uber at the time started to take this video when she heard the children screaming. The incident occurred at West Loop Elementary School in Chicago, Illinois. #DemsUnited

🚨Why are ARMED MASKED MEN roaming around an ELEMENTARY SCHOOL harassing CHILDREN as they walk to school? At Turman Elementary, in Colorado Springs, children told staff they were aggressively approached by masked men with weapons, who identified themselves as ICE agents. This is so fucking dystopian. Children are already being traumatized by shooter drills… and now, they have to deal with armed, masked men, as they walk to school? ICE says someone fled a vehicle stop… But we don’t know whether that person was their intended target, what justified the stop, or whether the stop was even legal to begin with. Either way, elementary school children should not have to be exposed to this. ICE shouldn’t be roaming around their school, especially with guns, during their morning commute… approaching kids, and frightening families. Then it gets worse… because ICE claims the children were lying, and the children approached THEM, and accuses people speaking up of “creating a climate of fear.” You have masked men standing on trucks, with guns, outside an elementary school… and our government is acting like the children being scared are the problem? How messed up does this have to get before we stop accepting it? Children should be worrying about who they’re sitting next to at lunch… not whether they’re going to encounter armed men, hunting someone down, on their way to school.

ICE raid Los Angeles elementary schools to make "welfare check" on 1st graders—principal blocked entry. Disguised federal agents told school staff they had parent's permission to take kids out of class—that was outright lie. "They quickly hid their IDs," when asked for details —arrived in unmarked cars & wore casual clothing—leading to confusion about who they actually were. The Department of Homeland Security confirmed that the agents worked for them—but claimed they were not technically ICE agents. However, the federal agents said they were at the school to make a "welfare check" on students they claimed were "unaccompanied minors who crossed the border." The parents and legal guardians "deny any interaction with these entities, and certainly deny providing authorization for these individuals to have any contact with these children at the school." #DemVoice1 #wtpBLUE #DemsUnited

Virginians deserve better. Kids in elementary school are afraid to get on their bus, neighbors fear being targeted at the grocery store, and workers aren’t showing up to their jobs. That is the reality we are facing in Virginia and across the country and it has to change. That’s why I signed bills into law to ban law enforcement officers from wearing masks or face coverings to conceal their identities while on duty in Virginia, and why I issued an executive order to ban ICE officers from using state property to stage immigration enforcement.

Former Border Patrol Commander Greg Bovino drops a massive bombshell and confirms the IDF has been training Border Patrol, ICE agents, and law enforcement as far back as before 9/11. "They sent me to a VIP security school, and it was run by the Israelis. That school was for all law enforcement." "They contracted with Israeli instructors, and they were really good."
