He’s on the right track but if I could tweak his advice a little I would tell him to explain what integrity means to his son. You don’t do things because you think you are being watched. You do things because it’s the right thing to do regardless of who is watching.

@burleson64 Everything we do effects everything else we do.

I can’t even put into words how desperately society needs more men like this gentleman. Good on him and good for the younger one.

i like that he thanked him too

Anybody curious why this lesson didn’t happen before the kid was in his teens?

Real fathers get real joy from parenting. It’s a blessing to be able to teach your son anything.

Not sure why, but I liked that he walked and talked with his son instead of just sending him to throw it away.

Children don't come preloaded with knowledge, this Dad is taking the time to teach his son a simple lesson. I think it was George Washington who said, "With experience comes knowledge, with knowledge comes wisdom." Don't assume they know; teach them throughout the day, every day.

I love that dad

@billysandytodd The black community has other issues but it’s awfully sad that just having a present father could solve a significant portion of problems they endure and an entire political apparatus is built around destroying those families.

This video is why LBJ destroyed having a father in the home for African Americans. Killed discipline of several generations by doing that.

God bless that father right there ❤️

pops need to tell him, act civilized bc that's how you get snow bunny.

If the child would've said "no, I'm not doing it" what would've happened? A lot of parents need to understand, bullying your children only teaches them to respect force. Teach your children the collective benefit of integrity/honesty, so they'll act even when you're not there.

When you get right down to it, there's only a few things that separate us from animals. Disposing of garbage is one of them. Mad props.👏🫡

Good job, Dad. My Dad had a stick with a ten penny nail glued in it and a paper bag with the top folded over. If he saw you litter, you were given both, and you had the police the neighborhood. We didn't litter again.

A father is thee most essential part of raising a child

That’s a good video and parenting. Compared to some of the other trash we see on social media, like the kid knocking down all of the cereal boxes, throwing food in the grocery store, and nobody does anything about it.

I love this parent. I do that as I'm going into a store - pick trash up - I'm also the person who if clothes fall off hangers - I rehang them. It ain't hard

He failed simply by recording it for the internet a parent should never humiliate their kids while teaching life lessons . Lessons should come from a place of love not clout chasing on the net

That might seem like a small thing, but that dad is teaching his son a valuable life lesson, to respect others, respect others property, don’t litter, and to think before you react. That man is a good dad! 👏🏼

Mad people took the complete wrong message from this just off simple misunderstanding of context…. He’s literally teaching him integrity and respect. “Someone is always watching” means act the same way when nobody is around as if you’re being watched. We all do this without thinking about it. Young people, especially today need to be taught this. I can just tell some of y’all didn’t catch NOTHING ya old heads threw at you. Hit you right upside the head and hit the floor.

Right but for the wrong reason: ❌ "never know who is watchin" ✅ societies are clean when all members of society are clean

I love this father! Invested, energetic and passionate about parenting. I also love his son, respectfully listening to his dad, paying attention to his words and doing what was asked of him. He didn’t complain or talk back. He didn’t roll his eyes or huff and puff. He respected his dad and it shows. This kid’s a keeper and he’s already a better man. Imagine what he will do with his life!

THANK YOU! I can see the NAACP and the White Liberals calling this abuse.

give this man an award

Love man, good parenting.

I love dads and men who lead. It’s beautiful!

Love it. Good dad. Need more like him.

…I guess it ain’t Nothin like having a crack head for a father. They got unlimited energy 😂

Dads rock

Basic manners is one of the greatest gifts a parent can give their children. It makes a huge difference in almost every situation they’ll encounter for the rest of their lives.

Maybe there’s hope he don’t end up in jail

Next we need to address throwing trash out the car window.
