And let your kids know you’re proud of them. My stay at home mom did things like this for me and I never felt unsupported a day in my life. She could have been running the streets with her friends or tending to her own needs but we came before that.

My Mom would always ask “Where’s your coat??” When I’d visit during winter & walk in the house with just a sweater on😂😆 I’m 40 years old & she’s afraid I’ll catch a cold. Parents will always parent.

fuck I miss my dad. he used to pull up on me with bags of random things I liked & just to kiss me then leave when he knew I was working a lot. or he'd just play music & make me food then interrupt me for dance breaks. stayed with the damn munchies b/c he smoked all the time. 🥹😭
