The only people who could tell my twins apart was me and my dad. My now ex learned to call them both son so he wasn’t wrong and I also told him it was supposed to be detrimental if he couldn’t tell them apart. Now if they were both running (away), I often mistook one for the other.

I always imagined the fear of a young father who lost track and doesn't want the mother to know it. Now we know a ll parents of twins are unsecure about it.
