Paris…holding on by a thread…

That's the thing I dig most about Paris-- the vibrant street/sidewalk life. It's such a great city to wander & explore without an agenda.

My god, the chaos is terrifying...pigeons and poodles marrying, radical patrons dipping cookies in their coffee...Oh, the humanity!

You can get a beautiful video like this in any major city. And you can go 20 blocks in the same city and film poverty.

One of my favorite memo from last year. Maybe too touristy for native Parisians, but it was a beautiful evening.

Also watch the many videos on Facebook where they drive round desolate, hollowed out US cities in the Midwest and Deep South. Utterly desolate, staggeringly violent, forgotten people and crumbling infrastructure. Then they accuse Europeans of getting it all wrong!

I am in Paris right now and it is absolutely beautiful and incredible. If you go to Blvd de la Villette there is a little bit of homelessness and the streets are more dirty, but in a city of 12 million people this is VERY normal and at far far less rates than any US city
