Just watched this chaotic scene of a Popeyes run and I’m convinced this exact scene is on a loop at almost every single fast food restaurant in America every single day. Same counter lean. Same “is anybody even back there?” energy, but this time people telling the staff someone paid twice and still didn’t get their grub. Then it descends into absolute chaos. Same quiet resignation while the chicken decides whether it feels like existing today. I still have my favorite spots, but situations like this have me relying less and less on fast food. Probably for the better. My blood pressure, wallet, and future self all said thank you.
