I am thrilled to finally share something we have been working on in stealth for nearly two years with talented animation filmmaker Ishan Shukla. This fantastic film project, based in the #Baahubali universe, will set up the Baahubali franchise for its next phase. Arka Mediaworks is producing the two-part stylised 3D animation film "Baahubali—The Eternal War" in collaboration with Indian and international studios and creative teams. Our vision is to offer the first-of-its-kind animation film from India! We wanted our film lovers to experience the teaser in theatres first, so we attached it to #BaahubaliTheEpic. Since Michael Jackson's music is trending afresh due to 'Michael', the movie, this "inspiration" by M.M.Keeravani/Maragadhamani/MM Kreem is worth revisiting! K.Balachander's 1991 film Azhagan had music by Maragadhamani, as he was called in Tamil, just an year after his Telugu debut. One song in the film (loaded with fantastic music all through) was the beautiful 'Thathithom' set to Dharmavathi raaga. The situation is that Mammooty, an older widower, wants to test his new gift, a Casio keyboard, from Bhanupriya, a popular dancer, who is in love with him. A college-going girl, played by Madhoo (her debut, before Roja and Phool Aur Kaante), is also in love with him. So, while Madhoo sings, Mammooty tests his keyboard by playing along. Towards the very end, Madhoo decides to tell him how he feels, musically, and pivots away from the heavily-soaked in Dharmavathi raaga melody to a completely Western melody!! That brief piece is directly inspired by the last single from Michael Jackson's Bad album (1987), Liberian Girl! I continue to wonder how and why Maragadhamani decided to infuse this tiny bit of direct inspiration into his otherwise quasi-Carnatic melody. Did it have something to do with K.Balachander wanting to bring about Madhoo's (a college-going girl in the early 1990s) outlook and musical expression of the present times when Jackson was ruling the musical world?

🎬 It’s been almost 2 months now that I’ve been working as a VFX AI Prompt Artist / Photoshop Editor on Season 2 of #houseofdavid, a major international production for Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios. And honestly? It’s absolutely wild. The show is crushing it (No. 2 on Prime US, over 22 million viewers worldwide), and I’m super proud to have been part of the team since February What truly makes this project stand out is that, for the first time on a production of this scale, AI Artists have been directly integrated into the VFX pipeline. A bold move led by Wonder Project, and a strong signal for what’s coming next: generative AI has clearly found its place in the film industry. Presided over the signing and exchange of a MoU between the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune and the Maharashtra Film, Stage and Cultural Development Corporation Limited (MFSCDC), Mumbai today. This was more than a formal agreement. It was a step taken with the belief and purpose to shape the skilled creative force that Maharashtra and the country need in today’s dynamic landscape. Creativity is no longer limited to studios or stages. It thrives in homes, on streets, and in the hands of young dreamers who turn simple tools into powerful means of expression. These voices are not only inspiring, they are driving an entire economy. In just 100 days, the Creator Economy grew from ₹92,000 crore to ₹1 lakh crore. Such momentum brings opportunity, but also a growing need for structure, training and recognition. Many talented individuals have the skill but lack formal certification.
