SAG-AFTRA and the Director's Guild of America have contracts that prohibit them from joining the writers strike. But both of their contracts end on June 30. Their solidarity could fully shut down Hollywood, and make executives agree to the writers' demands.

As SAG-AFTRA members join Writers Guild of America West and Writers Guild of America East writers on the picket lines, you’re going to hear wealthy studio execs and their enablers in the media attempt to spread lies about unions. This is nothing more than an attempt to protect corporate bottom lines. Know the truth.

It is unacceptable to have hundreds of thousands of people out of work. This goes beyond SAG-AFTRA. There are crew members, caterers, laundry services, prop & costume houses, hair & makeup, teamsters, etc…. all struggling to keep a roof over their heads. My heart goes out to all members of IATSE // #IASolidarity Teamsters Directors Guild CDG Local 892 Writers Guild of America East Writers Guild of America West who have suffered greatly during this work stoppage. I implore the AMPTP to do the right thing and get back to the negotiating table. Nothing can be accomplished by walking away.

You don’t have to agree with Trump 100% of the time to vote for him. Take it from me. I haven’t always agreed with President Trump. But we agree far more often than we disagree. We agree on keeping America strong. We agree on keeping America safe. And we agree that the Democrats have moved so far to the Left that they’re putting our freedoms in danger.
