Kennedy was a public figure, it’s right for a colleague to pay respects to him in public and thus remind others of a decent man. If social media isn’t for that then what is it for, in answer to all the vile criticism on here. Happy New Year.

Well done. One of the reasons I hate Salmond was how he was towards Charles.

Thank you for letting us never forget this wonderful man. I sometimes wonder what he would make of the political world now? Such a huge loss to our party ( as it was, not now) and the political world as a whole.

How fantastic.i had the pleasure of meeting Charles Kennedy in Fort William where I am from. What a lovely, warm, genuine man.We spoke about life for about 15 mins. I will never forget.❤️
