As one of the hero assets for our film Outpost Alpha, the AH-64D Apache helicopter was created to a very high degree of detail as it needs to hold up in extreme closeup shots. We designed the rig to reflect how the mechanical parts move in real life, further adding to the realism in our animations. Now it moves on to Texturing and Look Development. Couldn't be happier with the progress we are making on the film at Luminairi.

Clips from the k1 fight. 3 x 2 min rounds but fight was called short after 2nd due to emergency calling the medics away (not allowed to fight without medic present). Opponent Aaron, ~10 years younger and a bit taller, won on points (deservedly). However, my best shots were late in round 2, and his toe broke so 3rd round could have gone my way. Will never know now. Bit of fun at least

He got warned once, came back, took ~18 shots of the planes, fences, gates from public areas. Now facing federal charges for unauthorized pics of a vital installation. Spotting from outside bases is usually fair game in the US, but this one's got extra context with his immigration status and the sensitivity. For me, it's a tricky reminder of where hobby ends and security concerns kick in. Are these charges fair, or overreach on spotting rights?

🔬HOW WE JUDGE OUR PLAYERS IN WORKOUTS… Most players think if they make shots, they have a good training session or practice. To me that’s not even in the top 3. If Players come in and do these 3 things, we’ll have a really productive session.. 1. Pace - Have a high work rate, move with intensity and purpose. 2. Bounce Back - How quickly do you bounce back when negative adversity hits… missing shots, losing a drill, getting scored on, etc. 3. Presence - If you come in the gym with positive energy, ready to work, communicating, etc. Seems like a 3 of those are choices too 😉

Alex from Digital Foundry is doubtful about GTA 6 Trailer 2 "Gameplay" aspect and what Rockstar Games means by it, he wouldn't allow other developers call it gameplay, because of the 20 by 9 aspect ratio? In my opinion, Its not like we haven't seen these cinematic style shot settings in previous R* Games like RDR2 which allowed you to hold the switch camera button to add black bars to your current Gameplay to make it more cinematic. I don't see how that changes the statement of "entirely in-game from a PlayStation 5, comprised of equal parts gameplay and cutscenes" if these shots are captured in a more stylish way to promote a Trailer Video

Pushed another 2021 Unreal Engine experiment through LTX in ComfyUI! Not perfect, but look at those free waves! 🌊 Back in 2021, I was exploring the first version of Metahumans and ray tracing, trying to figure out how to generate water displacement. It’s crazy to see this extra layer of detail now on top of it. Although not all shots resulted in good waterflow direction . Combined a line-art + depth pre-processor to generate the shot guide. Also used these line-art generations in Nano Banana 2 to get the new first and last frames. Some shots are still tricky to get right if you want to keep control over the shot, especially the last shot with nothing in the end frame.
