I know the rebuilds are controversial especially 3/4 and Shikinami overall is a hot topic but scenes like this are probably why I slightly prefer her over Soryu. She's more up-front with her feelings and generally more mature (granted she's also 14 years older than Soryu) but she was like this in movie 2 as well. Love that she blatantly admits she had feelings for him and compliments the food he made for her, no fluster or tsundere deflection. She's not even mad that he could've killed her but rather that he chose to do nothing at all for her. Also her using a gaming console as a way to avoid social situations is really relatable. Her being a part human part angle being is also super cool too imo lol, wish she got more screentime because she was my favorite part of rebuild 3/4.

Part 1: I have never zoomed in on their faces in the last KTV moment. Because I would just cry watching that last video. But I decided to do it today and my heart just broke more. The silence between them was sad but their faces and little thing they do? More sad, more heartbreaking. Yueyue looks like he will cry at any moment, the more he looks at his man the more his nose flares up, the more his fingers play with his Adam's apple, the more he tries to look up and blink each time. And Leizi...I can't make out his eyes but I know it's an unblocking stare at his moon in front of him. The more he looks, the more he anxiously bites his lips, the more he takes big gulps, the more his breathing deepens and the more his chest heaves. Now they are married and having a great time in their beijing apartment with their 3 kids but I cannot imagine what this moment felt for them. And I hope they never feel it again. Only warm cuddles and hugs and kisses to one another. (Part 2 will be me zooming in on the last scene where yueyue sings his heart out~ Don't kill me!)

🚨 THIS BROKE ME. A high school student with special needs… just trying to fit in… just wanting to be accepted… gets humiliated instead. For what? A laugh? A moment of attention? I raised my 3 girls better than that. They were taught to be kind — to animals, to the elderly, to the disabled… to people who need it most. In school, they sat with the kids nobody else would sit with. They saw the ones others ignored. And I’ll never forget this… When my middle daughter was in 10th grade, a teacher personally chose her to help in the special needs class. Not because she was pretty. Not because she was popular. Not because she was on honor roll. Because of her heart. That’s what mattered. So when I see this kind of cruelty… I don’t just blame the kid. I look at where it started. Because bullying doesn’t come out of nowhere. It’s taught. Or it’s tolerated. Or it’s ignored. And that’s the real problem. That young man didn’t deserve humiliation… He deserved a friend. He deserved someone to sit next to him. To talk to him. To make him feel like he belongs. We don’t need more “cool” kids. We need more kids with heart. Because at the end of the day… that’s what people remember. So I’ll ask you this— Are we raising kids to fit in… or to stand up for the ones who don’t? 💔

The Times says Platner exchanged messages with as many as a dozen women, and his campaign said no, It was up to six. In a statement, Platner's wife said she feels betrayed by the ex-campaign aide, who revealed the information, and that the couple went to counseling. Do you have concerns about Graham Platner? ANDY KIM: Well, first I'll say is, you know, I've been very much focused on the crisis in my home state, so I haven't been able to focus as much on this. But right now, you know, this information is out there with any campaign in the country. You know, the character and the transparency about the different candidates is going to come out. That's part of a campaign. And the voters will decide what it is that they ultimately think in terms of their ability to trust those candidates. BASH: What do you think? KIM: Well, look, right now for me, like I have not met him. I've never talked to him yet. But what I am- what I do hear from people in New Jersey around the country is that they don't trust this U.S. Senate right now, led by the Republicans as we are about to go back into session this coming week, and what they are pushing on is, you know, 60 to $70 billion more for ICE, for CBP, for immigration. They want that stopped. BASH: So do what it takes to elect Democrats, regardless of questions like this? KIM: From my standpoint, you know, I will work with whoever the people of Maine elect, but I hope that they elect somebody that is going to stand up to this president, work with me to be able to fight back against all these dangers. The fact that Tony Gilroy even got to write a Vader line feels really special to me and you can tell Tony took it seriously. Tony isn’t a Star Wars fan but he’s a REVERED professional writer and part of that comes from giving audiences incredible moments. Every moment of this scene is absolutely cool as fuck and even people who don’t like Star Wars are going to feel hype about it because it’s also HILARIOUS. Darth Vader is a drama queen. If you really want to get technical about the lore, Anakin stopped emotionally developing at age 22 and it makes Darth Vader hilarious. Every moment of this is what a 22 year old would do if a girl broke his heart. It’s exactly what a badass villain should be — spooky is the most important (which is why there’s SO MUCH spooky imagery and not as much dialogue) but he’s also smart and sometimes even charming. He’s the perfect villain and he needs to be treated with the proper gravitas. Actually — he needs to be treated with MORE gravitas because he’s also a supervillain icon and a true blueprint. As much gravitas as you think he needs, Gilroy gives him just a LITTLE more. Because he’s Darth fucking Vader, baby. This scene alone can make almost anyone enjoy Rogue One because it’s fucking hilarious. Tony Gilroy killed it. 10/10 my second favorite Star Wars moment ever. Incredible respect for an iconic villain.

Also, this is now my third time being questioned at the Gangnam Police Station. The same victim being questioned three times? Guys, that’s something that has never happened in history. I went into the interrogation room. The team leader and the investigators were both tense to the point of being neurotic. They told me that I absolutely could not record anything. I said okay, I won’t record. Then I asked, “Why not?” He said, “Did you tell anyone that you came to the Gangnam Police Station this afternoon?” I said, “Maybe I did, maybe I didn’t.” But they had already received countless calls. Guys, do not call the Gangnam Police Station, seriously. The investigators cannot conduct their work properly. You might think, “It’s okay to talk about my own business,” but if you call and say things like, “Investigate properly, you idiots!” and then hang up, that’s absolutely not okay. There were also people who, in a moment of impulse, would call just to yell. I’m telling you this because I’m concerned for you: if you keep yelling, you could actually get arrested. Even if you use a public phone, it can be traced. There are still ongoing cases. Being rude to the investigators won’t help; you could end up in prison because of it. So, investigations need to be conducted properly, and you need to speak reasonably. In short, the questions from the investigators are now more difficult, and I answered them honestly. There has never been a case where the same victim is questioned three times. I said, as long as they call me, I will come at any time. Whenever they need me, I will go immediately and answer their questions. These investigators also don’t know much about YouTube. They weren’t aware of the recordings I previously made public, so I handed over all the related materials to them. Overall, I feel this is a very positive sign, guys, so we should be able to get the outcome we want. As for what Kim Se-ui said to those YouTubers before, do you remember? He said he only spent a few hours investigating the 16 cases. That was completely false. Now he has already been investigated twice, and may have to be questioned one or two more times in the future. Don’t believe what he said. Also, he has never used a false accusation to sue anyone.
