MRC Card Shop will now start carrying hammers, outdoor items, paint and supplies etc etc… Still boggles my mind how/why places like Menards, Lowe’s, Ace HARDWARE are allotted allocations 😂… I’m always told I need to spend tens of hundreds of thousands to keep my allocations up for my TRADING CARD STORE by buying ancillary product (sleeves, binders, deck boxes etc), plus organized play helps. But yes, it makes perfect sense for these other businesses to get product when they don’t have to follow the same rules. Anyway, if you’re looking for an outdoor camping tent they will be stocked soon 😂!

Baby Alvin doesn’t know it but that pillow is made from my late grandfathers shirt, Grandpa Alvin, the most meaningful gift my wife got me for Christmas 🎄 (ok it might have been for Baby Alvin and not me 😂 we have one at home that’s made out of my wife’s late grandfathers as well, so Baby Alvin will have both his grandpas looking over him in his nursery as he grows up 🙏)

Watching this reminded me of my first job in America - a server in one of the casino buffets. Our buffet was famous with the crab legs. The only thing I could eat in this American buffet was the crab legs with hot butter and carrot cake. I even got wrote up for eating a carrot cake. Not only that I signed the paper but I also admitted for eating the carrot cake. When the director of the food department of the casino wrote my note, he asked my manager if I was trying to be a smart 8ss. My manager said: Nope. She always say what she thinks. On the next day the director passes through my station and wishes me a good day and says my name. I was sooo… smacked on the head from surprise that the only thing I could say was: Ah, you know my name? He said: Of course I know your name. I was so shocked because I in general think I am invisible to people - stay on the side and observe. And for somebody to know my name, that means I didn’t do enough job hiding 🤦‍♀️😂😂😂 A lot of things happened at my first job and soon everybody knew who I am and what’s my name (for my horror) 😝 I could not adjust to the American culture and I would constantly retaliate against certain things that I would consider unjustice 😂 Now that I think about it, it’s hilarious. But back then, I was really miserable. MS will never be the state of my happiness.

This was my very first time working on site with fighters and after a day of filming I was instructed to come up with something for these legends to record for socials. I explained a concept and had to tell GSP that he needed to slap Wonderboy and it be believable enough to be funny. WB and GSP agreed to just full send it. One take. 🤣 (GSP had just started rocking hair and Will Smith had slapped Chris Rock on tv the night before) 🧵 This might take days to finish but I want this stuff to live forever on the internet so bare with me. 🙏😂

So this Muslim guy came to my DM and said I’d be fuel for hellfire, and that honestly, more Christians shouldn’t even convert… because we’d just increase the fuel supply in Hell. 😂 So I said, “Wait… didn’t your own scripture say everyone, including devoted Muslims, will enter hell first before Allah removes whoever He wants? Meaning paradise isn’t even guaranteed for you… and we’ll both be in the same place at some point. So what exactly am I converting for?” He asked for proof. I showed him. He said, “No, it means pass by, not enter.” I said, “Alright, let’s go deeper.” I pulled up the Arabic, the tafsir, and what scholars said, everything lined up. At that point… silence. This brother started searching for an escape route. 😭 Then I asked him: “So after all the struggle on earth, you still go to hell first before maybe making it to paradise… does that even make sense to you?” He replied, “I can’t question Allah. He is all-knowing and merciful.” I said, “I hear you… but deep down, does it make sense?” He paused and said, “I need to do my research on that… i am not a scholar, and haven’t come across it” And I’m like, wait… but you memorized the Quran in Arabic but you’ve never come across this? 😅 That’s when it hit me: a lot of Muslims can recite the Quran perfectly… but don’t actually understand what it is saying.
