A stunning evening for a street party and what an exceptional turn out for it! The atmosphere is buzzing and electric with some triumphant trumpeting to boot 🎺🥰

Podium here (to the right) and an impromptu stage where we’re anticipating the big announcement! A fantastic day for the history of this 136-year-old theatre - and for the community who had not given up hope to see it the auditorium come alive with its popular panto again 🎭

Well done to everyone who had a hand in this. I left Oldham 60 years ago, but spent many of my Friday evenings during my teenage years at "The Rep". Must see if i can get some tickets for the panto.
