Pashupatinath! 🙏🔱❤️

That’s my boy 🩷

Awwwieee good good bouyyyy 🥰❤️

Seeing this brought back a memory from my teenage years. On Mahashivratri, my grandfather organized a Maha Rudrabhishekam at Pashupatinath. I was around 15 or 16. I still remember the endless chanting of the Rudram, the sacred atmosphere and the grandeur of the abhishekam. At that age I couldn’t fully appreciate what I was witnessing, but looking back, I realize how rare and special that experience was. Har Har Mahadev. 🙏🔱

Lovely. Saved it. The dog has a special significance in our tradition. It represents the Veda itself! Lord Shiva appeared before Adi Shankara as a Chandala with four dogs. The four dogs represent the four Vedas

🙌JAI SRI RAM🙌 🙌OM SHIV SAI RAM🙌

Om Bhairavaya Namah! Bhairava and his dog Shvan are seen as the supreme protectors who guard against inner demons and misfortunes And yet there are those hurt and kill dogs! Evil has taken over, and those who call themselves Shiv bhakt, but are cruel to dogs are pure evil
