Behind the scenes story: so the little girl here is voiced by Judith Barsi who as sadly killed by her own father before this film released but after she has finished her lines. This is her last voice role and the song at the end Love Survives is dedicated to her and her mother who was also killed. There was a popular story going around the internet that Burt Reynolds who plays the dog did his lines after her death but this story is not true as it’s never had a credible source support it and according to the films creator Don Bluth it’s false

What makes this even sadder is that this was one of Judith Barsi's final role she worked on right before her death. May she rest in peace.

RIP Judith Barsi.

I wonder what happened to her in the sequel?

“Goodbyes aren’t forever” really hit me harder

If u know that Burt reynolds (Charlie) was actually sayin goodbye, kuz her parents killed her already. Makes the scene more sad!
