If you watch closely, the nose landing gear doors open first, indicating what appears to be the start of a normal landing gear retraction sequence. 🚜 Who do we think we are these days? 🚜 6 years ago we drilled our first 30 acres of barley. Using none of our own gear and fair to say, they were fairly mediocre crops, not because of how they got drilled but because we didn’t have the timings right. But you have to start somewhere. Fast forward to today, we will have 150ac of arable in the ground by the middle of next week for summer harvest. All using our own gear. It might not be a 5 or 6 furrow plough and it’s not a 4-6m drill but it does our job just grand. Investing in our “new to us” gear has pushed the farm on more than anything. Around our area, timing is key to sowing crops, the weather window is so small

In the Halo games, we never really see a Pelican land and takeoff using their landing gear, apart from 1 shot in Halo Infinite, and Microsoft Flight simulator where you can fly the pelican. So animating this shot trying to get it feel realistic with no real reference was fun.

😓 Air India 🇮🇳 Flight AI171 with fully loaded Boeing 787-7 Dreamliner fatal accident: I‘m an airline pilot with >15‘000h of experience and a physics institute: My brief PRELIMINARY analysis of the visible facts from the video of the takeoff: * The flaps are only slightly extended, presumably to position 1 instead of 5. * The landing gear is still extended, which should have been retracted at this altitude and causes additional drag. * The aircraft is at a high angle of attack, which confirms the insufficient flap setting. * From the video and witness accounts, only low engine noise is audible. * Neither smoke nor fire is visible. * An engine failure is less likely. The most probable cause is presumably a human factor, an incorrectly chosen, insufficient flap setting for takeoff, and consequently an inadequately selected thrust. In this context, the correlated speeds were too low because they were calculated for a larger flap setting or a lighter aircraft. As a result, the aircraft took off with insufficient speed and intentionally but falsely derated thrust, was therefore on the unstable side, and rapidly lost more speed and altitude due to the additional failure to retract the landing gear in a timely manner, leading to a subsequent stall at low altitude and crash. For the experts: the aircraft got onto the wrong side of the speed vs drag curve and maneuvered itself into a corner from where there is no escape. Another possible cause could also have been an incorrect input of a wrong takeoff weight into the Flight Management System, resulting in too low thrust and too low speeds. The pilots got startled after takeoff, couldn’t wrap their head around what went wrong and incorrectly prioritized making an emergency call instead of flying the aircraft first, manually increasing thrust immediately to maximum, and retracting the landing gear. I'm now convinced based on this video that the second and third shots were just as justified as the first. We can see that the ICE agent is being hit by the car throughout the series of shots. The leftist argument that "we are seeing the front grill of the car, therefore he was not in front of the car" does not hold. A front bumper can absolutely side-bash you. The agent at this point does not have his eyes on the wheels, he does not know where they are headed. All he knows is that there is a car striking his body and he could get swallowed under the wheels, lose a leg, or die. There is no doubt that he was correct in his belief that he was in the process of being assaulted by a potentially deadly car attack.

The discourse around the Eze penalty last night is fascinating. If nothing else it provides Arteta with an excuse as to how his team has been hard done by and robbed. He loves excuses. It’s a fascinating situation because I actually think the right outcome was reached albeit through the wrong process. Once given on the field under the current rules it shouldn't have been overturned. For that Arsenal can feel aggrieved. Don't forget Arsenal were the beneficiaries of an incredibly soft penalty in Leverkusen. It wasn’t overturned. I find the attached video interesting because it clearly shows how minimal the contact is. The defender doesn’t pin Ezes foot to the ground. Doesn’t smash into it. It brushes down the side of it. It’s where the still pictures of it were wildly misleading. Are we really saying that contact such as that is worthy of a penalty? What’s clear in the video is that Eze has absolutely made the most of the slight contact. I love the straight left leg. A very natural position. It’s a brilliant dive and normally it would have been rewarded. By saying that is a stone wall penalty all we are doing is encouraging such theatrics and cheating. Whenever you hear the words “that was clever” by a commentator they are intimating the player has cheated/made the most of it. We complain about refs all the time but what chance do they have when players are doing stuff like this. Until players are punished properly there is no disincentive for players to keep doing this stuff. I also find it fascinating when you have a foot brushed like this. When you compare it to all the holding/pushing/grappling at other times. Sometimes a contact sport and others not. Is this really what football has become?

Turning lemons into lemonade. Life's always an adventure so make the best of it. Our rental had some issues this week losing forward gear at the concert. So the girls jumped out and pushed us out of the way. We had some great laughs and now have some awesome stories to tell down the road. That's the best. 'Rally By The Beach' took care of us right away. Always a great experience renting from them while here.

FSD recognizes the RAV4 needs to merge, but is pinned by the semi, so it tries to slow down to let the RAV4 jump in, but the RAV4 is being a baby about it and not taking the hint. As soon as FSD has the gap it goes for the yeet. 14.2 is way better at handling these sorts of situations where human drivers get stuck in the stalemate if “you go, no you go!” Didn’t used to be the case.

Nobody comes into my office and says they've been losing ground for years. They come in for a knee or a shoulder. But when you ask the right questions, a different story emerges. They stopped hiking because it got too hard. They gave up tennis. They hesitate before the stairs they used to take without thinking. They've quietly rearranged their lives around what they can no longer do... and most of them didn't notice it happening. This is what I think of as the narrowing of people's lives. It's not a dramatic event. Instead, it's a gradual shrinking of what's physically possible, so slow that people mistake the adaptation for a choice. It wasn't a choice. It was the slow, quiet disappearance of capacity that nobody warned them to protect. They normalized all the changes and attributed them solely to aging. The narrowing is not inevitable!! Dammit... it's not ;-)! But it requires intention to resist because the body will not hold the capacity to do things you do not train, and the losses accumulate in silence until they don't.

There is a "flash" bug in the One UI 7 Beta1 animation. In fact, there are at least three versions of this problem. Samsung seems to have not found it, so it has not been solved. You only need to open two apps in succession a little quickly (not particularly fast)，You will see a quick flicker in the picture. The first video is played at normal speed, and you can see a flash picture. The second video is a slow video, and you can see the moment when the soul of a page flashes in the ninth second. I call it the One UI 7 haunted event.

There is a "flash" bug in the One UI 7 Beta1 animation. In fact, there are at least three versions of this problem. Samsung seems to have not found it, so it has not been solved. You only need to open two apps in succession a little quickly (not particularly fast)，You will see a quick flicker in the picture. The first video is played at normal speed, and you can see a flash picture. The second video is a slow video, and you can see the moment when the soul of a page flashes in the ninth second. You’re on a journey on this kind of lonely road with your car and your car suddenly develops a fault, You can’t call for help and your lines can’t be reached due to network issues, what do you do? Except the car will stop and the engine won’t come up again, please reduce your speed and accelerate softly till you get to a nearby town, if it is an overheating issue, keep driving, put the gear in the neutral position and switch off the engine and let the car keep moving, switch it back on when you have to ascend a hilly road and the car can’t move freely on its own again. If the battery signal comes up while driving, chances are that your alternator has failed, or the alternator belt is damaged, apply the same method and switch off your AC, radio system or anything that may drain the battery while driving till you get to a safe place. If it is a flat tyre, maintain a low speed till you get to a safe place to change and use your spare, keep moving. Yes!!! Damage that tyre till you get to a safe place, just keep moving and make sure you have a spare tyre always and it is in a good condition. If the engine suddenly goes off on top speed, chances are that a fuse is damaged and this is why I will make a thread on how to identify different fuses and how to have them fixed temporarily in case of Emergencies. If your car jerks or experiences a lazy movement while driving, it’s likely to be a fuel related issue, fuel pump most likely, switch off the engine intermittently and put the gear in Neutral position, keep moving… if the fuel pump rests for about 5mins, it’ll pick up back when you ignite the engine, this will/may at least take you to a safe place or where you can have access to network to make calls. If you hear strange sounds like knocking sounds or the oil signal starts to blink, relax and reduce your speed, keep moving. Manage it till you get to a safe place or can have access to network. If your gear/transmission system isn’t selecting well, apply the same method, reduce your speed but keep moving, slow movement is better than no movement, your life and safety matters a lot. Please note that there are some Mechanical issues that nothing can solve on the road except patience and just to pray to God for safety and help, for example, you run into a pothole unknowingly and the oil pan hits the road and your engine or gear oil leaks away, or your ball joint or tie rod head pulls out, I’ll suggest you leave the car there, roll up your windows and lock up the car and start trekking till you get network or help, staying with the car may make you vulnerable to attacks or attract unexpected company, just keep walking away from the car for safety. Most importantly, please stay safe and be conscious of your environment. Be friendly with your Mechanic too or any Mechanic you see on the road. Don’t manage faults in cars and risk traveling with it.

There is a room in Málaga that was built to be the closest thing on earth to standing inside heaven. It is called the camarín of the Virgin of Victory, and it is hidden at the top of a tower inside the Santuario de la Victoria. To reach it, you climb and the ascent is the entire point... The building you are climbing through was completed in 1700, and it was designed as a single argument made in stone. At the bottom lies a crypt: a black chamber crowded with white plaster skeletons, a meditation on death and the brevity of life. From there a staircase rises, and as you climb it the light grows stronger and the imagery changes from bones to saints. The architects of the time understood this ascent as the soul's own journey, the dark crypt as the stage of penitence, the staircase as the stage of spiritual progress, and the room at the very top as the final stage: the union of the soul with the divine. That room at the top is the camarín, and its dome is one of the most extraordinary interiors in Spain... Every surface is covered in white and gold plasterwork. There is no empty space anywhere. The Baroque called this horror vacui, the horror of the void: the conviction that a space meant to represent heaven should not contain a single bare patch of stone. Out of that plasterwork emerge angels, flowers, birds, and mirrors. The mirrors are not decoration alone. They catch the light pouring in through the windows of the drum and throw it around the chamber, so that the gold seems to move and the whole room appears to shimmer and breathe.
