To allow the work to be completed we've had to bring in a one-way system on the concourse leading to p15 - 19. Thanks for bearing with us while we work to modernise the station and make journeys from concourses to train easier and faster🙏.

@Se_Railway @GatwickExpress @SouthernRailUK As someone who has trouble standing for long periods, I would like there to me more seating in the half where platforms 1-7 are. There are a few near Costa, but not enough during busy periods and I can’t see the timing boards easily from there. #Accessibility.

I promised to make our transport safer and this will do just that with permanent staff overseeing the new barriers These are the first new gates in 10 years, with more to come and it’s the start of our multi-million pound investment to overhaul our Metro - with a new fleet, upgraded signalling system and the extension of the network to Washington 🚇
