Why do you train patterns instead of decisions?

Hi Joel, I think there’s room for positional play and relational play to work together. To answer your question, in this instance, if I really wanted to land the importance and benefit of getting into the half spaces. It forces the intended outcome. You could evolve this into an attack vs defence scenario that allows for more freedom relationally to make decisions.
