Pastor Adeboye Did Not Protest Against President Goodluck Jonathan’s Government A false narrative has been circulating online, accompanied by a photograph of Pastor E.A. Adeboye holding a placard during a public walk. The image has repeatedly been misrepresented as evidence that Pastor Adeboye led or participated in a protest against the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan. This claim is FALSE. Here is Pastor J.F. Odesola constantly mentioning CAN and PFN as the bodies whose authority they are under and obeying during the 2020 prayer walk. But Peter Obi Supporters have been using that to spread falsehood against Baba Adeboye. RCCG wasn't the only church that adhered to CAN and PFN call for prayer walk on that day, but because the leadership of RCCG did not allow Peter Obi to turn RCCG to a campaign ground, they have decided to be dragging the church. Enough is enough. We will resist all your evil agenda.

Pastor Enoch Adeboye should retire and go home. His controversial statements on the state of the nation offends the sensibilities of right thinking members of the society. In life, it is always better to know when to exit the stage. The fact that Adeboye is holding brief for this incompetent and oppressive government is a mockery of Christianity. Many people in our country have stopped going to Church due to the sickening hypocrisy and connivance of these religious leaders. Tinubu has paid billions in fuel subsidy, contrary to his public statements. Tinubu’s government has not addressed the rot and corruption in the oil sector. We are not all naive and gullible. It is preposterous for Adeboye to say that it is his prayers that has made the Naira not to depreciate further. Prayers do not have any effect on the exchange rate. Exchange rate is determined by economic and monetary policies, and the productivity of a country. Adeboye has been praying for decades for Nigeria and Nigerian politicians and things haven’t improved. It is either his prayers are not working or God is not listening to him. Some of the most corrupt and evil politicians and political leaders in our country today are disciples and followers of Pastor Adeboye. He should look himself in the mirror.

The danger is real.
