How do we think this is normal? This is all by design. I asked this FIVE months ago because it was clear that rural and coastal pubs and businesses are struggling under Labour’s record taxes and costs. Why has it taken Labour so long to realise the damage done by their high taxes? If Labour really cared about rural communities, they will match the Conservatives’ plan to SCRAP business rates for our high streets and stop taxing local businesses out of existence. To do this, they will have to cut welfare spending. But we know Labour MPs are only interested in raising taxes to pay benefits to others.
