🤦‍♂️ This government gets more embarrassing and pathetic by the day. This morning Work and Pensions Secretary Pat McFadden spent his time defending a door. Yes, you read that right. A door. Not even a real door. A fake, symbolic replica sitting in the lobby of a building in Manchester. You literally couldn’t make it up. He says having a replica No. 10 door is a symbol that Manchester is part of the “power structure of the UK”. The presenter mockingly asks: “So people can post on Instagram?” McFadden says it’s so people visiting, even though they’re in Manchester, know they’re “at the heart of UK government decision making” and that it shows “there’s real power there”. The presenter, who must be thinking this is a prank at this point, replies: “But it’s a fake door.” 😂😭 Incredible nail-biting stuff! I can’t believe this is actually real.
