I’m a Cubs fan, but I have to give the Brewers a tremendous amount of credit. They’ve built the best team in baseball by making a ton of smart decisions. They are getting the absolute most out of THEIR players and elevating Pat Murphy to manager after Counsell left has paid off.

I’ve had a soft spot for Murphy ever since seeing his press conference after the Mets defeated them in the Wild Card Series in 24. Rarely seen someone take a loss so elegantly. Since my team’s out of contention I’m really rooting for the Brewers this post-season.

That smile as he said “walk em off”. Then taking in that moment without even moving. It meant something to the manager too
