I never understood why this movie got so much hate until I got older…. People really hated the fact that a black woman was cast as Catwoman even though the first live action Catwoman was Eartha Kitt, a black woman!!

She deserved a much better movie. I still have yet to be impressed by another catwoman after her.

They had everything they needed to make this movie a hit. They just needed a different villain and storyline. Halley berry really did an incredible job with the role and honestly this is the best version of cat woman out of all the others. They needed a villain like the kingpin

Halle was fantastic, the movie itself wasn’t good. I want Halle to get a redo as Catwoman. If they ever do an older Batman movie.

I agree, but looking back all the effects and stunts were just SOOOO BAD. But that’s on the director and producers. I enjoyed her role aside from that.
