VIDEO | Here's what petitioner Abdullah Mohammad Faiz said on Supreme Court hearing over #NEET row. Centre told apex court that the decision to award grace marks to 1,563 candidates of NEET-UG, 2024 by #NTA has been withdrawn. "Considering the discrepancies, I filed a PIL in Supreme Court on the behalf of Students Islamic Organisation of India. Today, PIL was taken up. Recommendations of NTA grievance cell have been withdrawn and stated that those who had time lapse issue in exam will be original marks instead of grace marks. Students will also get the option to rewrite the exam."

#WATCH | On the Supreme Court's hearing on the NEET-UG 2024 exam, Alakh Pandey, petitioner and CEO of Physics Wallah says, "Today, NTA accepted in front of the Supreme Court that the grace marks given to the students were wrong and they agree that this created dissatisfaction among the students and they agreed that they will remove the grace marks...Re-examination of those 1,563 students who got grace marks will be done on 23rd June or the original score without grace marks would be accepted by the students. NTA agreed in front of the SC that the grace marks they awarded were wrong. The question is if NTA has other discrepancies that we are unaware of. So, there is a trust issue with NTA...The issue of paper leak is open and hearing on that will continue..."

The idea of branches is get people from a certain area with similar values together to engage with each other. From that engagement we need to coordinate our activities to deliver our solutions to the community. If we could get the 200,000 plus people that marched last weekend to deliver 50 flyers with our policies we can get our message out to 10 million homes reducing our need on the mainstream media. Our members will also get to preselect our candidates. Preselection is incredibly important as it is the most direct way to hold politicians to account.
