Klay Thompson on his exchange with Ja Morant: “Nothing of intelligent depth. It was really just running his mouth, and he’s been running his mouth for a long time, and it’s funny to run your mouth when you’re on the bench. It’s kinda the story of his career so far… He’s just been letting a lot of other stuff get in the way of that…When you’re a star, it comes with great responsibility, and I hate to see that go to waste.” (via Joey Mistretta)

Isaiah Likely on if he'd prefer to continue playing in Baltimore: "For sure. This is the team that took a chance on me coming out of college. I tell the Ravens and the fans every time I get a chance to that 'I give y'all everything I got because y'all are the ones that took a chance on me when I came out.'" 80 finished his contract year with 27 receptions (36 targets), 307 receiving yards and a touchdown over 14 games after missing the first month with a foot injury. via Baltimore Ravens

It was fun to watch Ja’Marr Chase interact with campers at his annual ProCamp. He has not attended the #Bengals voluntary workouts so far, but it sounds like he’ll be joining soon. “It’s just giving my body a rest at the end of the day,” he said. “I work very hard. My coaches can vouch for me and my teammates can vouch for me, so at the end of the day, I’m not doing anything wrong. I talk to the team and give them my information so I do a good job of that. “I can’t wait to get back, and obviously I’m fixing to be back soon.”

Dominic West, aka Detective Jimmy McNulty, is a British actor who had to adjust his accent to be authentic in his role on the iconic TV series ‘The Wire’. The show is set in Baltimore and is suffused with Baltimore culture, including its language. Co-creator Ed Burns said that West spent a lot of time going over the accent with David Simon: ‘“Now, say it like po-lice.” “Police.” “No, po-lice.”’ Others helped out as well. Peter Gerety, a veteran of stage and screen who played Judge Daniel Phelan, said West asked him for guidance: He said, ‘I need you to listen to me. I’ve got to get this Baltimore accent down,’ because, of course, he’s British. He actually does a really good American accent, but I sort of sat with him, and he just worked through stuff for a couple of days, just to get his Baltimore accent closer. Not that I was all that great with it, but I think I helped him a little bit. Dominic West elaborates on the challenge: It never got any easier for me. It was a real problem for me, actually. I worked pretty hard on it. I think the producers felt that, eventually, perhaps I wouldn’t need the coach anymore, but I did. I needed it right up until we wrapped the whole series, and it was a constant effort particularly any time he [McNulty] got emotional or you started shouting. That’s when you lose the accent and start going into your own accent. I always dreaded those scenes, and it was a pain.

“Opinion on Ferran Torres?” 🗣️Pedri: I think that Ferri is a player who can contribute a lot to the team. It’s true that, well, the other day I was really hoping his goal would've counted, but i’m sure it’ll come. He’s going to score important goals for us. And, we're always there for each other.

just now, I detected this Polymarket profile with that turned $10 into $9,500 with a single trade this trader specializes in weather markets, and this huge return came from one of his weather trades he bet that the highest temperature in Lucknow would be 31°C on September 6, entering at just 0.1¢ this happened, and he made an insane +94,395% return and this wasn’t a one-time hit - he’s already found several similar market inefficiencies on top of his biggest hit, he’s also made +34,312%, +9,900%, and +952% on other trades i pinned his profile in the comments below if you want to check it out ↓

Trevon Diggs tells me he did stay back with family for Christmas and did attend the concert. Both can be true. He says he never lied about what he was doing or where he was and sent me plenty of time stamps and IG lives. See below. The concert was Friday at 11pm and the artist was his best friend from back home. Things can get spun but bottom line? Team wanted him to return back with team postgame to Dallas and fly back to Washington area on his own. He didn’t. That clearly pushed an already tenuous situation but the end was inevitable and he ultimately made a choice and the team made theirs but it doesn’t mean he’s a liar.

🎥| “[Phoebe] Yeah, but he’s not really one like he he never sings outside of like his job, does he? Like, we don’t get him singing like... [Daisy] He’s a Hummer. He’ll play a lot of guitar at home and he also hums a lot, but he doesn’t really sing that much.” — The Tomlinson twins on whether Louis sings outside of work via Luke Hamnett’s Spotify.

A year ago, August 20th, Charlie was at Wrigley Field in Chicago cheering on his favorite baseball team, the Cubs, and supporting his friend Matt Shaw. It was a dream of his to walk on that field, take in the history of one of Americas most iconic ballparks, and experience it all as a lifelong Cubs fan. He was so happy. I think about this day a lot and go back to it in my mind all the time.

Grayson Rodriguez on his message to Angels fans, and what they’re getting: “Gonna get a pitcher that’s gonna throw a lot of innings. That’s gonna be at the forefront of my goal. We’re gonna go out there and win some ballgames. We’re gonna be playing in October.” (AM830)
