I feel sorry for the generations who didn’t live in the ’60s and ’70s. As I was growing up, every artist had their distinct voice, and no one had the same sound. I doubt that there will ever be such music again.

This is one of my favourite songs there is something deeply sincere and sensual, and her voice is amazing. very addictive

A great voice and a great poet. One of the few rock stars who I can genuinely say is a fine poet in her own right, music aside.

I still have a copy of her first LP. Bought it the year it came out. Gloria was my favorite from it.

Saw her at CBGB in August of '79... people pushing their way to the stage to be spit on..wild times.
