Samkelo Zwane vs Supersport United🤌🏾🤌🏾 ✅️ Better out of possession reactions. Sharp counter pressing. He's a bit quick compared to when the season started. ✅️ Good aggression in duels, he battled ground, and aerial duels well. ✅️ The ball recoveries🤌🏾🤌🏾 ✅️ He is growing very confident on the ball again, even as a lone pivot, he could find the right passes under pressure. ✅️ He takes control, and he is more involved in the game. ✅️ Better spatial awareness OOP, he closed the gaps, in possession, he broke lines effectively. ✅️ Progressive passing from deep, he could find space behind defense well. ✅️ Even at 3 goals up, he was not showing any signs of slowing down on those forward passes. ▪︎ He combined well with substitute Mfundo Vilakazi on the left. ▪︎ This led to a few good chances late in the game. I can completely understand why Paul Scholes views Sandro Tonali as the best CM in the Premier League. There is not an action Tonali cannot execute. He’s comfortable receiving under pressure, always picks the right pass and reads the defensive game so well. Add his ability to carry the ball & can threaten with his ball-striking, he has all the makings to contest that title.

Manny & Makhanya: Brave Building Out Yesterday, I felt both CB's were really brave in building out from the back and most of the attacks were as a result of their play. Manny Fernandez with the ball is exceptional: > Delays to Provoke Pressure > Brave Breaking Lines under Pressure > Takes Responsibility at All Times > Created 2 of the Best Chances in the Game Also thought Makhanya grew into a decent performance. We can argue defensively on Manny, I think he can definitely develop and improve but I also believe he wants to & understand's why he delays play. As for the laziness recovery stuff, he covers ridiculous High-Sprint Distances for a CB per 90, especially for a Rangers defender. More players with his Game-Understanding and Midfielders to demand the ball off of him then Rangers will be in a much better place.
