Paul Bernardo is the worst monster in Canada. He should rot in a maximum security prison for the rest of his life. Trudeau has the power to make this happen. Stop passing the buck.

FACT CHECK The Prime Minister does NOT have the authority under the Corrections and Conditional Release Act to decide where an individual person serves their prison sentence See also: rule of law; political interference with administration of justice

Jeebus. For some who wants to be PM, you show a startling lack of knowledge about how Corrections Canada works. How embarrassing.

Might want to talk to @ABDanielleSmith about how things go when politicians try to interfere with administration of justice

There is nothing you won’t politicize. What a shameful wreck you are.

Well, right now if someone was to ask me who the worst monster in Canada was, I’d have to say it was you. Bernardo is locked up and can’t hurt anyone anymore. And his victims were selective. You on the other hand, are a danger to every single Canadian.

For someone who want to be the PM so badly, you really don't seem to understand what the job is

To be clear, @PierrePoilievre is asking PM Trudeau to act as a gatekeeper over Correctional Service of Canada. 👍 Inciting moral panic is a strategy often used by #Poilievre.

I agree with you, but if you were in power, would you overturn it and send him back? I’m starting to notice you talk a lot but that’s about it.

So you are saying there should have been a gatekeeper somewhere along the line to stop this from happening?

Blatantly untrue. A politician can not reach down into Corrections Canada on an individual case. Do you want to give Bernardo a platform for a Charter violation in court? You'ld probably love it as a propagandist.
