Tremendous balance, upper body strength, two great feet, and as quick with the ball as he was without it. Quality player.

The strength when on the ball was a huge asset. Imagine the major injuries never happened and the drink was controlled. But then we would that for the gazza we all loved

Gazza was amazing but I do think he’s got better with time. The best player in England in a similar period from ‘87 to ‘91 was John Barnes but he barely gets a mention now. Gazza barely played for years. 40 odd games in 4 years until he went to Rangers
