DHS says the person shot by an ICE agent has died. "One of these violent rioters weaponized her vehicle, attempting to run over our law enforcement officers in an attempt to kill them—an act of domestic terrorism," the statement reads. "An ICE officer, fearing for his life, the lives of his fellow law enforcement and the safety of the public, fired defensive shots. He used his training and saved his own life and that of his fellow officers."

What we’re witnessing in Australia is deeply disturbing. The rise of antisemitism around the world, especially during a sacred time like Hanukkah, must be confronted head-on. Governments have a responsibility to protect their citizens and put an end to this hatred. The United States must stand firmly with our allies and against antisemitism wherever it appears.

Greater Manchester Police (Greater Manchester Police) participated in a video on Aug. 6 in which Chief Superintendent Phil Hutchinson reached out to Muslims to assure them the police were on their side. The meeting took place following violent protests weeks ago by Muslims outside the Rochdale police station after some of their brothers were arrested for allegedly beating and severely injuring police at Manchester Airport. (A female officer had her nose broken.) The arrestees were released without charge and criticized the release of the CCTV footage showing their violence.

None of those five Swans players have been interviewed or questioned, and none have been charged. “I just want to clear that point up. This is not to say this won’t happen in the future but the point at the moment is that none have been questioned formally or informally and certainly none have been charged as well. - Tom Morris

In the wake of the recent violent attacks against Jews, I was proud to stand with my colleagues and Jewish communal leaders this morning to advocate for an increase to the Nonprofit Security Grant Program to protect the physical safety of the Jewish community. While we advocate for this increase in funding, we must also examine the role of our own government in the fight against antisemitism. Unfortunately, when it comes to antisemitism, the Trump Administration has acted as a catalyst, not a deterrent. If President Trump were serious about fighting antisemitism he could start by firing known antisemites in his administration and stop using antisemitism as a tool in the pursuit of partisan political gain.
