I was there in the 7th row centre! A night of legends - included Beatles, Monty Python, Tom Hanks, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, ELO Jeff Lynne (both playing as The Traveling Wilburys), Billy Preston, Eric Clapton, Ravi Shankar, George’s family… & more - crazy night! 🙌🎶

Lovely rendition from McCartney of his former Beatles bandmate George Harrison's classic "Something." I've said many times that it's rock's greatest ballad. The refrain "something" in the lyrics attempts to capture the ineffable mystique of love. 🎶❤️ #McCartney #GeorgeHarrison

I remember watching that when it happened.. I do believe George’s son came out and played also..

@AndrewCMcCarthy Also this tribute:

Did I see Jeff Lynn in the back?

@JeffLynnesELO the Legend up there too. What harmony from Macca and Clapton though!!!

I was lucky enough to see McCartney play this in concert in the spring of 2002-the Ukulele was a gift from George

Definitely a unique one, thanks for posting🤘🏽🎉

A Concert for George. If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend that you do.
