She is either doing (50+50-25)=75 and 75x0=75 or she is doing (50+50)-(25x0) where 25x0=25, either way, she has slipped up with multiplying by 0, anything multiplied by 0=0.

Schools cater to different student levels via differentiated teaching in math, reading etc. They use targeted support staff & specifically tailored ILPs to help kids falling behind catch up. High achievers get extension work & special programs to keep them challenged. This flexible system tailored to each individual student ensures every child gets the right guidance for their level of learning. I’ve no idea what Hanson has been saying to lead you to this conclusion but I also think she is the last person who should be discussing education, just like she is the last person who should be discussing DV, economics, immigration & many other topics to do with governing over people’s lives, futures & an entire country’s international representation.

Without being written down, the maths is unclear but 79 isn't an answer that makes any sense. When just spoken, some may assume calculating the result after each step and that result is the start of the next calc. Written on paper/screen then BODMAS order of operations apply.

Perhaps Pauline went to the same school of economics as Jess Wilson. They’ll both make outstanding Treasurers—and by “outstanding,” I mean standing outside Treasury while someone who can do basic arithmetic works inside.
