I saw them play around this time, at their second to last show in Manchester before breaking up. “Grounded” in particular that night blew everyone away.

Got any Noise Addict vids? Early Ben Lee sort resembled Pavement to a degree. Not so quirky lyrically but fuzz pop (I think I just made that up).

Pavement were always great at incrementally recreating past songs when done live — they always approached older songs in a fresh way and never played them the same. I saw them do Summer Babe at least three times and it was always a little different
