From my own personal experience, I have said this LOUD & CLEAR! We have to speak up! I found out I was extremely vitamin D deficient in June of this year. The Endocrinologist saw that it had been low since Feb. of this year. I was only told my iron was low! It’s done on purpose!

It’s exactly what @DrJackieWalters spoke about.. she talked about how black women have a higher mortality rate because they’re not taken serious when they bring up issues.. Doctors walking in and demanding your baby be kept at the hospital is a whole other factor

💯people think racist doesn’t exist in the medical field. Too many Black women die every year after complaining about symptoms. Black people will never get approved for a medical disability as white women or others do. The system is broken.

I stand with her… I’m currently suing a hospital for the death of my mom last month. They have a history of neglect with black patients. Nothing was ever exposed, that stops with me.

As a black woman in America, I speak up and I have put several doctors back in their white coats because I am not the one to play with. Ladies, please start speaking up and speaking out. Currently, I have a panel of all white doctors on my team and they are all golden Nuggets and if they are anything besides that I will simply just replace them , then file a complaint.

This is very true 4 2 of my pregnancies. I constantly kept telling the nurse that I felt pain, even though I was on an epidural she kept dismissing me in both instances when I cursed her out & asked4 the doctor when the doctor came in they seen my babies head poking thru my vag

I was sent home in my 2nd trimester when I was in early labor. I told him it felt like something was leaking. He never checked at all. It was amniotic fluid. My water had broken. He also came to the hospital as I was in distress with a smile and cheerfully asked “how ya doing”?

Dj Envy's wife said she experienced this while delivering 5th child (i believe its was her 5th) she asked for an epidural ( which she has gotten during her previous deliveries) but the doctor didnt want to give it to her because he believed she didnt need it.
