PAY YOUR ARTISTS!!! 🗣️🗣️🗣️

I've seen avatars sell for $40 that I would pay AT LEAST $120 for all the work and capability involved in it On the flip side, I've seen avatars selling for $120 that should only be selling for like $20 because they're just a fancy headhack with no effort put into them x.x

@RitualNeo I'm in the process of learning Blender so that I can make avatars, and now I'm scared fhjkfhkjsd BUT I SHALL PRESS ON.

Honestly, people who do avatar commission, and bespoke avatar work are severely underpaid It's partly why I so, so rarely take on commissions. The community expectations of pay are criminally low with how long it takes of a high bar of quality

Blender frightens me, I am HAPPY paying someone else to deal with it 🤣🤣🤣 Having said that I would like to learn to use it, if only just to be able to do little tweaks here and there on the models I've got already! (God help me...)

You should give blender a go if you're ever up for it. It's not as scary as it seems, just time consuming?

I love this because it does show off a huge amount of the work that goes into the models. It's just a bummer that a lot of the behind the scenes stuff and troubleshooting go unnoticed and underappreciated.

"Art costs too much money" Then learn to do it yourself? You're not only paying for the art, you're paying for the artist's years of experience.
