This is from today's #WCWS game. This was ruled a base hit when it happened (you can see the 'H' pop up), but was changed to a missed catch error by the first baseman at the bottom of the fourth. This is an impossible catch for the first baseman with a ball thrown from that angle, that hard. This throw has to be to the glove, and while it's not a wild throw, it's low enough that the first baseman cannot get her glove around it in time. This is where replay gets you in trouble. The slo-mo replay makes it look like it's a catchable ball, but it isn't. In real time, at live speed, this isn't an error. This isn't a missed catch or a drop. I was loving the call of a single, especially because it was the first hit, and then, when it was changed, it felt like it was to protect a no-hitter. Everything about this screams "above ordinary effort" ... I would have left this as a single.

If your Linktree is advertising premium content, it’s a bit ironic to demand “princess treatment” from someone you’re asking to fund your phone charge. The issue was never who asked it was the contradiction. If your online brand says one thing while your expectations say another, people will notice. Dear Marcus Rogers: as much as “God tells you”, it seems like God would’ve told you it was a voice text that you’re talking about here. Suzy Lamb was not recording herself crying… as you say here in this apology video. She sent her friend a voice text when she was going through a very hard time. That friend kept it because she was afraid for Suzy. And that friend released it with Suzy’s permission at a later date. This was not “Potiphars wife” planning to record herself on a phone call (it wasn’t a phone call). Your word here is off because you based it on ANOTHER LIE you are spreading. Please humble yourself and step aside. Even in your apology, you center yourself and act like you are some prophet with a word for everyone. You’ve (admittedly) gotten every single thing wrong about this. Time to take the L and take a seat. Nobody believes your whole “God told me” narrative- God is not confused by this. You are. And that’s fine- you can have your own feelings, opinions and emotions about this. We all do. But acting like you are “hearing from God” about 15 conflicting things is not a good look. You said God told you to go to Suzy and Jonathan. You now say that was a mistake. You said God told you to go to Daystar. You now say that was wrong. Apologizing is good. But continuing to do the same thing in your very apology is nuts. Glad you are bowing out. This guy rented his Airbnb to a family. They called him requesting a litter box. He doesn’t allow pets in his Airbnb. So he told them he doesn’t allow pets. They said it wasn’t for a pet it was for their son. So he asked if it was an animal or an actual person. They said it was for their son who identifies as a cat. He told them that was fine but there would be a cleaning fee. The cleaning fee was going to be $2,000. The crazy thing is the family is actually considering this. 🤦🏼‍♂️😳
