The PDP leadership failed to attract anyone to the party but was instead focused on me, abandoning its role of bringing members together to reflect on what went wrong and to galvanize support ahead of 2027. The govt could not sack them,because they were threatening the govt with strike. And since the govt dread scarcity if there is any strike, the govt have to continue paying them salaries for 25 years for doing nothing. Don't even let me go into what they received as salaries and allowances. You will be shocked if you know what they pay them in the oil industry when compared with other civil servant.
