The Ilorin Muslim community is now subtly sending bloggers to issue apologies on behalf of the community and Ilorin at large. This action alone raises serious questions and strongly suggests an acknowledgment that something wrong was done. An apology without justice and accountability is not enough. Arson is a serious crime, and those responsible must be identified, arrested, and prosecuted according to the law. This case can not be swept under the carpet. Truth must prevail, and justice must be served. ⚖️

The peaceful protest organized by the families of detained BYC leaders at Burma Hotel, Sariab, Quetta, was met with a heavy crackdown by Quetta Police. Several peaceful protesters were arrested. As of now, the whereabouts of many of those detained remain unknown, raising serious concerns for their safety and well-being. The right to peaceful assembly and freedom of expression must be respected. The families’ call for justice was answered with force, and those taken into custody should be accounted for immediately. We demand that the authorities disclose the whereabouts of all detained protesters, ensure their safety, and uphold their legal rights. #ReleaseBYCLeaders

Impeach corrupt and activist judges. If you coddle criminals, refuse to enforce immigration laws, and go soft on crime, you do not deserve to be in charge of justice in this country. The American people are tired of a two tiered justice system. They deserve a system actually working for them, judges who follow the law, and consequences for those who do not. Judges who refuse to do their job need to be removed.

The Central Government has authorised the Delhi Commissioner of Police to exercise preventive detention powers under the National Security Act (NSA), 1980. The authorisation, effective from July 19 to October 18, empowers the Delhi Police Commissioner, Anurag Kumar, to order preventive detention under the Act during this three-month period. Under the NSA, a person may be detained without a regular criminal trial for preventive purposes, subject to the safeguards and procedures laid down in the Act.
