Peak anime from the 80s

Demon City Shinjuku was cool, but I think the peak of 80s anime was and is Dominion. :)

Looks like inspiration for Benten

Maybe it's just me, but it looks like this anime had some influence on DMC, it reminds me so much of DMC1's opening, only turned up to 11, lol.

Record of Lodoss War will always have a place in my heart

Adding water to a concentrated acid can cause the water to sit on top and instantly boil, creating a steam explosion that forcefully ejects the concentrated acid out of the container.

Just from this short scene, you can tell it's a Kawajiri work.

Hell yes demon city Shinjuku

Is this Wicked City?

my type of date lol

Mephisto was oozing coolness. We all wanted to be him back in the 90's as teenagers watching this.

It’s a felt John Romero

I wish they still made anime like this love the art style so much

Peak

If you watch this in English the Benten wannabe says "I only want a little game with him, to fuck him" the way she delivers that line was funny to me

ジュラル星人みたいなカラーリングの下半身か ↓ 動きもなんかジュラル星人だった ↓ やっぱジュラル星人だった

Most of my dates

'Peak anime from the 80s' *click* isn't zeta gundam. I am sad and my day is ruined.

I guess she must have never drank a glass of water in her life.

I was fortunate enough to buy the DVD of Demon City Shinjuku. I also recommend that people listen to the Dub. It's just as good.

魔界都市新宿

looks like the average nightlife in downtown Rio.

demon city shinjuku is like anime comfort food to me.

Just finished watching this

Atleast they understood body proportions, especially for the women, not thses modern day pieces of shit body type

My favorite anime era

Seeing this dubbed on Saturday Anime on sci-fi channel as a kid fundamentally changed me

魔界都市（新宿）

That would’ve been a weird first date
