Pearl Jam, SNL and Sharon Stone (👀) This sounds even better than the studio version in many ways. Early Eddie is the best Eddie. Man is KILLING it. And Mike - don’t even get me STARTED 🔥 #Shredding

What a time to be alive (pun intended). I will put the 90s up against any other decade for music and entertainment in general. 94-96 was the peak of our civilization 🤣

Band completely fell to shit after they canned Abruzzese. I think he was the only one who had the balls to keep Eddie’s ego in check and provided the energy for the band. After he left, it became the Eddie Ukulele Experience. Hard pass.

Ladies and gentleman… DAVE. ABBRUZZESE. 🥁 🔥 *his drums were sent to therapy after this show

Perfection. These were the best times 🩷

My favorite PJ song. Was in my early 20s in Seattle, when all this music came out. Soundgarden, PJ, Alice In Chains, Nirvana, all of them. Lived near Eastlake Avenue, gritty street. Met many of them playing pool at the old Lobo tavern. Dive bar.

pearl jam sucks ass

At the time it was so exciting to see the bands from the 90s make it to SNL. Very cool

Pearl Jam’s introduction to the world. Top 5 greatest music performances ever on SNL. @andylarkins

This IS Pearl Jam, and will always be.

I saw them a couple nights before in Detroit, St Andrews Hall.

You are not kidding....one of the top 20 performances ever on SNL

"Alive" was my "Smells Like Teen Spirit." The first time I heard it, I was stopped dead in my tracks. "This was what I've been waiting for!"

Until the covered “Last Kiss”. The absolute worst cover song in history.

There are way worse tbh

This is one of my least favorite Pearl Jam songs. I kinda can’t stand it. Lol.

This is the moment I fell in love with Pearl Jam.

Who's had more drummers? Pearl Jam or Spinal Tap?

Living ones? Pearl Jam

Animal on SNL when Vs just came out blew my middle school mind

Sharon Stone before massive TDS...wow!

90s grunge music sucked

Good song but their grungy , overly hammy theatrics haven’t aged well

@AdamZagoria Whoa, I was there. The NBC employee who got me tickets actually apologized because they had never heard of Sharon Stone or Pearl Jam! Great show.

Times that were good. Abruzzzezzessesse on drums was the best fit for this band ever. I will die on this hill.

So so SO good.

what was hotter, PJ or Sharon?

This is a track that helps you get through tough times. Great version too.

Steven flowe.

Their live versions of most songs are awesome - and better than recorded, but that is pretty common. This is great. I love their live performances of 'Rearviewmirror' and 'Porch' and how diffferent they are.

Epic

What a better time. Brutal mediocracy now

Funny, saw them in West Palm Beach decades ago, and they didn't play Jeremy.

Shoulda been Andy, Greg and Bruce up there with Stone and Jeff - Just sayin....

One and only

Thats what you call killing your SNL performance 👏

Mike is one of the most underrated guitarist of all time.
