KizunaBlack actually already showed up back in episode 8 as KizunaRed's Zetsuenma form. Meaning this form is basically a Bond themed Break Up Fiend, a monster who causes break up via overwhelming bond. Too much of something would in turn become a bad thing.

I keep forgetting that Red isn't a newbie when it comes to being a Toku character. Also, it's nice seeing a Hazard reference.

He's the total opposite of being a newbie, he's a post-series Red ranger. He is closer to a returning legend red.
