There is a major concern about Data Centers that are using closed loop cooling systems that’s not being talked about There are a lot of chemicals being put into the water used in these systems. This is the corner just outside my home in Lutyens’ Delhi. Woke up to find my entire home under a foot of water — every room. Carpets and furniture, indeed anything on the ground, ruined. Apparently the storm water drains in the neighbourhood are all clogged so the water had no place to go. And they switched off the electricity since 6 am for fear of electrocuting people. Warned my Parliament colleagues that I might not make it there without a boat. But the city managed to pump water out of the roads and I did arrive in time!

Chronology of Gujarat floods ! -Madhya Pradesh's Indirasagar Dam released 9.45 lakh cusecs of water into Narmada, days before PM's birthday so that the Narmada Dam reservoir reaches maximum water levels before PM's birthday on September 17. -On the day of PM's birthday, as part of the celebration, all the floodgates of the dam are thrown wide open to release water. -Mindlessly, 18 lakh cusecs of water gets released at one go. -As a result, Bharuch, Vadodara and Narmada districts of Gujarat gets flooded. -As you can see in the video, flood water enters homes and residential societies. -Thousands of people are left helpless, houses destroyed and some forced to take shelter on the roof of the houses as water submerged their homes. -Meanwhile, people from Saurashtra, North Gujarat and Kutch had been demanding water for a month now but it was not being released. These water trucks are heading from Russia's Rostov toward Ukraine. Due to Russian occupation, Donetsk region has been left without water. The region is currently suffering from extreme heat, and water is almost entirely unavailable. Both drinking and technical water now has to be delivered to more than 1.2 million residents of Donetsk and Makiivka, as well as to half a million people in other towns and cities. There is also a shortage of water for Russian soldiers from the "Center" and "East" military groupings. The hopelessness of the situation is not that there is no way to deliver water - because of leaky pipes, destroyed water intakes, and pumping stations. The real disaster is that the water itself has physically run out. In the Donetsk coal basin, nearly all mines have been flooded during the occupation. As long as the mines were operating or kept in dry conservation, water was regularly pumped out. But after Russian forces occupied the city in 2014, they first sold all the equipment from these mines for scrap metal, and then simply flooded everything. Flooding the mines means stopping the pumping of water from them - disrupted water horizons, underground rivers, etc. do their job. The tragedy is that once a mine fills up, its contents mix with these groundwater horizons. The resulting excess pressure forces this mine water to rise to the surface, creating huge rust-colored swamps - that's iron oxide. As a result, all water horizons in Donbas are now unfit for any use. This is a massive environmental catastrophe that no one is talking about.
