This is the Man Down Cornwall campaign video for 2024. It’s a thought-provoking watch, but that’s exactly what we want it to be. Far too many men suffer in silence and are not able to talk openly about how they feel about themselves, their lives and the world around them. The stigma of male mental health needs to end. Man Down run talking meetings around Cornwall (UK) for men with mental health concerns. Meetings are run by male volunteers with lived experience of mental health. We run these meetings to help men talk to other men in a safe, supportive environment without judgement. Together we can eradicate the stigma of male mental health. We want this video to be shared far and wide. We want to make men understand that the trauma effect and the destruction left behind after a life is taken is unbearable and utterly devastating for everyone involved. Professor Dame Sue Bailey: Tackling mental health inequalities 🎙 We recently spoke to Prof Dame Sue Bailey OBE DBE FRCPsych about health inequalities and social determinants of health. As big believers in mental health support for all, it’s critical that we understand these issues while finding every way possible to raise awareness of our service so that no-one is alone and struggling with their mental health. To illustrate the issue, Sue, who travels to work by tram, told us that her life expectancy is four years more than a woman of her age living at the other end of the tram line. Recently I delivered a talk to 250 healthcare professionals who work in mental health teams to highlight the role of our hormones in relation to our mental health. As you’ll hear in this clip, we have oestrogen and testosterone receptors all over our bodies and in our brain as well. Each area of the brain plays a role in the way we think, the way we move and the way we act, and so when our hormone levels reduce, many women will experience psychological symptoms too. It’s really important that our hormones are considered when women are struggling with their mental health, so receiving this feedback from the consultant psychiatrist who organised the event is really good to see: “I must say I think we will all consider the menopause much more in our clinical practice after yesterday, I am keen to see if we can get some agreement or guidance around this and how we can potentially advise GP colleagues to consider HRT treatment if they have not done so already. I certainly will be suggesting it in my practice.” Thank you to Kehinde for organising the event with Nottinghamshire Healthcare Nottinghamshire Healthcare Medical Education . Hopefully we will see an improvement in mental health support for perimenopausal and menopausal women as a result.

His treatment is important for our society as he often roams around the state & can bite anyone in public area. It's risky because all our citizens are not at all vaccinated with the rabies vaccine.
